A lorry nearly crashed straight into me on this roundabout; had to swerve horizontal across 2 lanes🤦🏻‍♀️thank you for going through it!

Thanks for watching the video. I always told my pupils to assume everyone is going to try and kill you. Defensive Driving is always best. You are right, this roundabout is not a fun place to be.

I don't know what the designers of these new style of roundabout on the Parkways were smoking when they decided to draw up these lanes but some of them are just designed for chaos. half way round some of them, lanes just suddenly appear on the inside of them and at the Eye/Parkway one, it is possible to go right when in the second lane from the left of a line of four - surely that cannot be right ... ?

If you are referring to the Eye roundabout cumming from Werrington and turning right towards London then yes you can as lanes 2 3 and 4 all turn right. At junction 20 on the A47 turning right towards the Eye roundabout I would say no, use lane 3 or 4. Hope that helps.
