quick easy way to eliminate idle hunt, flatten fuel table where it hunts to same numbers, or rescale, and build timing valley around idle speed
@SloppyMechanics4 жыл бұрын
also set cell change resistance when you start to most agressive or very easy or whatever it says, so it can make big changes and then tighten it down when its closer. just some hints, not even done watching just spewing

Yeah, just rolling into it slow and watching afr. Was 13.0 at that part, made another adjustment and the last pull in the video was 11.8ish so much better.

Auto tune works awesome , have you tried ve analyze on mega log viewer . Sometimes that gets it close

Yeah the VE alanyze works pretty good. I've used it a few times.
@DCWERX4 жыл бұрын
Nice progress. You might wanna double check your "required fuel". Your VE numbers should not be so high in vacuum especially if you have MAP multiply enabled.
@BlaserBuilds4 жыл бұрын
Yeah they're higher than I normally like to see. It calculated 3.1 for required fuel after entering the injector data. I'm not too worried.
@DCWERX4 жыл бұрын
@@BlaserBuilds I believe TS VE maxes at 255, you may run into problems when you turn up the boost and max out the VE table. My car, though a different set up, hits VE table numbers in the 120s at 10 psi. Idle is in the low 50s

@@DCWERX I dont have air temp sensor hooked up yet either, and it was 30 ish degrees when I made this video. ECU thinks its 70 degrees. That should account for some of it since it's not using the air density correction table. Probabaly not all of it though.
@DCWERX4 жыл бұрын
@@BlaserBuilds it should not affect it that much. Either way, set the air temp compensation to 100 (no correction) till you get the IAT on. Love the progress man, keep doing your thing.

@@DCWERX Need more time. It was getting dark and I have no headlights on the car :-/ I'll play with the required fuel next time out.

Your proportional gain from idle to 2400 looks like it could dropped a little bit. I see alot of cells that are inconsistent with how the VE table should actually look. That could also be injector data as well
@BlaserBuilds4 жыл бұрын
Yeah theres a few issues right now. No IAT so computer sing 70 degrees when it was actually 30, stoich set for gas when running e85, etc. Was really just showing how the auto tune works.
@scrapmetal_sleepers4 жыл бұрын
Gotcha, it will be interesting to see how it works once everything is connected up and dialed in. I did a boost control pid and closed loop fuel control pid on a AEM infinity. Once optimized for the setup, it really makes for an excellent tuning experience. I unfortunately still run OLSD on a p59 with a 3bar OS on my truck so I spend a lot of time in the histograms and ect bias table and flashing since live tuning isn’t available.
@BlaserBuilds4 жыл бұрын
@@scrapmetal_sleepers I liked using the AFR error histogram in HPtuners.
@scrapmetal_sleepers4 жыл бұрын
a21bravo you and me both. The infinity has an AWFUL UI. I can’t even make a histogram for afr error and have to rely on a excel template someone made in the forums for generating afr error. The infinity really wants you to rely heavily on closed loop fuel control and I am more interested in building a solid open loop ve table so if my friends o2 dies he can still drive around until a new one gets shipped. I make all sorts of custom histograms with hp tuners which is partially why I don’t want to leave it.

Our aim is to reach 14,7 in every cell, right ?
@philbetthauser95474 жыл бұрын
How do you like tuners studio compared to hp tuners?
@BlaserBuilds4 жыл бұрын
It's nice. Simple, and scanner has the ability to pull things into the scan that you weren't logging before. With HPtuners you have to be logging the channel before the scan starts or you can't see it. So if you decide after the scan you want to see another parameter you can pull it right in.
