Good Job on the video. Question how do you remove the forward inner seal on the drum, it is pressed in right, like to remove and put a new seal. Thanks David.

People say they don't rebuild much anymore. That's because people throw away money and they're morons. Let me see I got a hundred grand in my pocket completely rebuild the truck the way I want it for 10 grand or go spend 100 grand on a truck that's going to have the same longevity as the $10,000 truck that doesn't have everything I wanted to put in it. I did the same thing man I've been happy I'm still upgrading mine. I will say in lieu of the performance and gas mileage that I didn't realize for my other previous rangers this one I probably would have went with a V8 crate lesson learned but I'm still happy I still saved a lot of money and I got a good running truck

Exactly what we did with my Smart 4/2.. with stuck fuel pump. It had a crank / no start. Worked. And pump is replaced.

I’m sure someone has told you by now but, you aren’t doing your math correctly. At one point you wanted to pull 10% from 57 @ 2000rpm & you said it would take it to 47 & be taking 25% out. 10% of 57 is only 5.7, your final number should have been (57x.10=5.7)….57-5.7=51.3, that would be your number not 47. The way you were doing the math could be very critical in some situations.

At 8 minute mark, the 4th clutch and center gearset are they flush? I feel like my pump is making contact with the center hub locking everything up I've pulled it apart a couple times and can't figure it out

Wellll...it could be a bad fuel pump, a clogged in-line fuel filter, a bad fuse, relay, or fuel pump control module but i know what you mean. 😂

hahhahahahaah I love the 350z too but my god .. I have a 1997 mustang gt go get a truck coyote motor gen 2 for 1100 ,, put in in ,, bolts right to the 5 speed ,,, to much work on the 350z ,, geez like you said easier to update motor then to fix or boost power on the older one

The idea is not just to narrow the housing but to eliminate the c-clips and have larger bearings outboard. There are any number of aftermarket housing ends that should work. Borrow a jig, cut off the housing ends, and you'll be happy in the end.

Can make custom tables. But your cruising RPM you're not really making power, so you can do both on same really. When you step on it you'll always be outside of cruise RPM/MAP values.

Big No, my friends father in law did that and burned his wirng, computer, almost all wiring plastics. Why? Bcuz normally tripped or blown fuses are caused by short circuit. If we jump or used a good conductor like copper wire it just get red hot until fire get started and burned our car. It doesn't melt like normal fuse.

Have an 04..wondered if tuning the front shocks to limit rise would help with camber shift, front tires spinning. Thought about converting to 04 PPV set up to help rise and squat.

Had my wife turn ranger on, removed gas cap listened Nothing. Did same test on Explorer Heard it cycling. Replaced inertia switch, relay, new plugs & wires. Still crank no start. Started preparing my liner from truck bed. Ill try Fluid 2morro. I do have new filter. Quess ill do that 1st. Great video!

A trick to listen for the pump running in the gas tank is to take the cap off, then put a funnel in it, have the other person only turn the key to "On" not trying to start it, have your ear placed to the funnel at this time. It will act like a megaphone and make it easier to hear, for those of us that are not as good at hearing as we used to be! Good luck, brother! I am waiting on parts to come in to keep working on my 1997 Explorer.

If the idea of dual feeding the clutch pack is to add more surface area on the piston to be pressurized doesn't drilling a hole in the chamber that is being pressurized bleed off the pressure?

The pressure in is so much greater than the fluid out that it doesn't matter. The hole is just to help relieve fluid when piston is not applied to prevent centrifugal apply of the piston when drum is spinning fast and tossing fluid to the outside of the drum.

When I move my line by the 180 fitting by the trans cooler I get a leak does that just mean I gotta bad fitting or is it suppose to do that??
