I own this simulation and have flown lots of PA-28 aircraft. I can attest it is very realistic and has that true "real world" feeling. Accurate and professionally done. My favorite add-on by far and I have tons and been flying both sim and as a pilot for over 3 decades.

Great video. I has surprised to see the engine controls 'Cessna' style rather than the usual T-handle quadrant style found in Pipers. I have access to the Parts Catalogue and found that very early serial Nos had the Cessna style controls fitted as standard. I didn't know this, so well done on the accuracy. You could also get these early models with or without an oil filter installed on the engine.

I fly a PA28-181 Archer II (G-BPTE), so I've been waiting for this for a long time. Can't wait! All I would say is that the tab that latches the parking brake lever moves too much, it's all a matter of applied pressure in my aircraft, very little actual movement.

The magnetic comas is to sensitive, just as in the A2A 172, would be nice if you can fix this...so we can do proper, partial panel IFR training, when failing the directional gyro.

TMQ KING Hey! I'm just in time, 2 days! I have the Academic License which is the same exact thing as the $200 version, the only thing that is different are those two words. I used to have that Academic watermark in the upper right hand corner and now it's gone, that us literally the only difference and basically now I have the $200 version. It's all a bunch of EULA bull crap that separates the two, I'm in college so technically I am fine for buying the Academic License, but others that aren't in school are "supposed" to buy the Professional licence or whatever it is. I'd recommend don't waste your money and use the rest on scenery and a plane like this or any other A2A plane, don't get Carenado (my opinion) because they have ZERO Flight model, if you want realism get A2A for GA planes, PMDG and FSL for commercial, and Orbx Sceneries.

TMQ KING Don't listen to most other idiots, because they're just going to tell you to blow your money because it's not theirs. Also, P3D is better than FSX which is why assume you're asking about P3D. Also, if your planning on making it better, you're going to have to spend some extra money. If you have any more questions about Add ons or anything about it you can ask me because I've spent over $800 on the sim alone but to me it's an investment because I learned how to fly and am going to get my PPL this summer during my college break If you like General Aviation look into A2A and Orbx Sceneries, BUT wait for a sell on the Orbx stuff, I'm waiting for a Thanksgiving sale because they're EXPENSIVE but the best. If you like Commercial go look at PMDG and FSLabs or the Aerosoft Airbus (less realistic though), look into Flightbeam sceneries and fly tampa for the best Commercial airline airports. Commercial is going to be the most expensive though

TMQ KING I'm assuming you're not coming from FSX. The best bang for my buck I got was getting Ezdok which allows free movement in the plane, but FSFX is coming out with an updated version very soon so I would wait to get that if I were you, it's also going to be way better. If you want a very realistic customizable environment look into Rex, and for weather look into AS16 or just HIFI in general.

OK, so yet another A2A aircraft once again FLOORS me! I own the Shockwave Redux and Accu-feel GA programs but in over 5 years of FSX’n, I never owned an A2A aircraft. Oh sure, I wanted one or two… or three, but the money wasn’t right. Then I started building my own computers, powerful, fast computers. I saw the huge performance bennies in the FPS and because the system could now handle it, started dropping thousands, (with a “T”), on HR scenery, (FTX, REX, GEX, UTX, ST, etc., etc.). I also stopped buying anything that wasn’t among my own ‘top 6’ list of developers. That left money for the highest resolution aircraft, scenery and such. Still, I didn’t own an A2A aircraft until YESTERDAY, (yayyyyyy)!! I bought the “Wings of Silver” Stratocruiser B377, (a plane I drooled over for several years), which, in comparison to the more recent A2A aircraft, is not as advanced. Even so, it’s far more advanced than the best of most other sim aircraft developers. Of course I was impressed with it, even more so than I expected. The first flight I did in it was from Queenstown airport, on the NZ South Island. Even after a number of relatively careful checks on my part, I nearly crashed it shortly after take-off. I didn’t do everything I should have done and as a result, the plane was barely above stall speed, (I set it up very light and low fuel quantities). The fastest I managed to get it was 117 kias at 1700 feet. I thought I was going down for sure but tried to keep that from happening, and succeeded! I slowly turned the plane around, opened the ram air gates, gave it a ‘notch’ on the flaps, and brought it back to the runway. I didn’t want to chance going around to the end of the runway I started on because I felt I was barely keeping it in the air. The wind was only 3-5 knots so I decided to land with the wind, (barely a breeze), to my back. It was a precarious and ‘ugly’ looking approach and landing, but I got it in and touched each individual tire to the runway, softly, (one at a time, lol), and parked it! So what’s my point? The A2A Sims are not for those who just want to jump in and ‘hit the gas’. Oh sure, turn the “Realism” setting off and you’ll be fine but most of us ‘simmer’s run with max realism settings, (the only way to fly). Well now, this Piper is on my “A2A aircraft to buy” list as well. My guess is that it’ll be about the 3rd or 4th of my future A2A purchases, (only because I’m looking for one of their faster aircraft as my next buy. Sure, I’ll still be buying Milviz, Lionheart Creations, and Vertigo Studios, (not to mention Razbam and Iris aircraft as well). I already own quite a number of them but it’s time for me to focus on some A2A aircraft and that’s what I’ll be doing for a good number of months to come. FWIW
