How come the pilot flying and the pilot monitoring aren’t communicating? I didn’t hear anyone call V1, V2, VR, positive rate-gear up etc...? Isn’t it crucial for pilots to communicate? It’s part of crew resource management-and this looks like a poor example of what to do when you’re flying a plane full of passengers.

I actually do think, that the mentioned call-outs are made. If you hear closely, you can even hear them. The reason why they are hardly noticeable might be, that (unlike many other videos on youtube) the camera didn't record the intercom channel between the two pilots' headsets and thus the voices are hard to perceive.

Umpa ok, thank you!!! I’ve seen pilot Claudio in a RTP report on his life as an airline pilot. He handles himself as a professional and is a skilled pilot, that is why I was surprised not to hear the call outs!! Great job Comandante Claudio!! Wishing you many years of great flying!! What plane are you flying on now since SATA/Air Azores has gotten rid of their last A310?
