Wouldn't the FIX INFO radial also work for this task? That way you would be able to leave the DIR page without losing the line?

Beyond SA with centerline, isn’t the other reason to allow the box to sequence properly in the event of a missed approach? Do you have a video about sequencing the box?

And if you don’t wanna do the reciprocal math, press the next fix in and it will likely have done it for you
