So silly to see all of those comments against Boeing , As much Ive been in aviation Ive never came across Boeing or Airbus radicals , Airbus wouldn't existed without Boeing , and Boeing won't be here today without Airbus , these two planes manufacturers following different ways of making aviation a safer transportation , Minimizing human errors also degrades pilots skills while Increasing work load on pilots eventually increases human errors , both companies working hard , good thing

because if the gears are badly crafted, and it goes wrong, wheels will always be open. They close wheels in the others tests. Here, it's just the first flight

how can it look like the 787 if the two planes have been designed by different companies and one company had no access to the other's projects to base a "variation" upon? It could be argued (although that would be very debatable) that the A350 is a variation of the A330, as its project has largely been based on the latter (analogous to how Douglas based the MD-11 on the DC-10), and the 787-8, -9 and -10 are all variations of the 787, but if the A350 had been in any way (even partly) derived or copied from the 787, it would be a huge international scandal that would change the history of aviation forever, because Boeing would sue Airbus out of existence

+telosfd Wheels are always down for the first maiden flight of any modern aircraft. Just in case there any faults with the landing gear systems. Its a safety measure used by all aircraft manufacturers.
