Saw them back in the states in 2005, the guy playing the melody at the end was standing in a spotlight with the rest of the band not visible. One of the best memories.

Wow I grew up with this song and album. I mostly listen to House, dance and mellow old rock nowadays but this band has always been very relevant to my ears. Love the melancholic atmosphere from their tunes. I’ve liked both vocalists but the guitars were always the backbone to their tunes imo. It was like Johnny Marr was to The Smiths for a weird comparison in my honest opinion.

I hate it when the singer of a band puts the mic to the audience so they can sing. It's like, "Bitch..I bought a ticket to watch YOU sing not some dip shit in the front row."

Have you ever been to a hardcore gig in your life? It's part of the culture, and a welcome one for most.

I wouldn't mind if I got to sing on the mic on some parts.

Yeah, Bring back Karl to sing Jesse's song that is incredibly personal to him /s
@MarkLePage4 жыл бұрын
Agreed. Karl destroys Jesse. Jesse never had power, and still doesn’t. Karl was a FORCE.

Yea have Karl come back and sing the first album that Jesse wrote lmao
@slothcore42654 жыл бұрын
Massive fan of Karl myself but you cannot replace Jesse for these songs. They are too personal for Karl to really fit. Tbh after just hearing the new song they dropped today I'm not worried about Jesse on the new record at all.

@@MarkLePage wtf are you talking dude? Jesse has a damn powerful vocal projection, not to mention he sounds exactly the same as in the album. I know because I was at this concert and his performance was stunning. Unfortunately I couldn't experience Karl's vocals live but I love his tone as well. Just because you prefer one vocalist you don't necessarily have to talk shit about the other.
