This is the most amazing car model build I've ever seen, totaly amazing! 😍 This said. if there's anything that I think can be improved, I think it's the windows. I don't build model cars myself, but is there a way to make them look more like real glass with more realistic refections and less distortion of the interior? Maybe use thinner plastic and polish them more? 🤔 And the crome around the windows, is it possible to further improve the finish? Together with the windows, it's almost the only giveaway that this is not a real full-scale car.
@A4Garage Жыл бұрын
The windscreen is often a complex curved surface, making it difficult to find materials to replace parts in the kit. I'm trying to find a way.Thanks.
@joakimquensel597 Жыл бұрын
@A4 Garage I understand. This was no criticism in any way. It would be very interesting to hear you share any future plans. What models are you considering for future builds, and are you gonna continue building 1/24 scale cars? Have you ever thought about taking it even one step further with an even more detailed 1/12 or 1/8 scale cars? And what about 3D printing, did you ever consider this as an option for making custom parts. And one last comment/proposal. I would find it very interesting if you in your next video would share some of the preparation work. For example, finding photos, prints, etc, that I assume you need for your work. And maybe if you wanna be more personal, you can say something about why you chose to build a specific car, your thoughts about its design, etc. Sorry for the long post, but you have a new fan, I just discovered your channel a few days ago, I never watched any videos on model cars before but I have now watched all your builds and I really look forward to any future videos!

@@joakimquensel597 I like the 1/24 scale of the car and plan to continue for a while. And I like to make it by hand even if it's a little hard. So I like classic cars that have a handmade feel. Thanks.

The one part that nearly all car kits skimp on, tires. I could probably count on my fingers how many kits i've seen or made where the kit came with either two sets of tires or a properly weighted set of tires to simulate the car's weight. I mean, sure, for some of the more modern cars, with super thin bubble, ok, that's difficult to make visible, but for old cars, trucks, tall wall tires..., they're always slightly flat on the bottom and have a wider spread, even at proper pressure, there's still a noticeable bulge. Dunno, it's a small pet peeve of mine.
@scottgreenway99632 жыл бұрын
Ok, though my days of making car models have been long over, due to shaky hands and poor eyesight, I used to get a car kit I liked, research what colors were available for the body and interior, find out what photo-etch was available for it, maybe throw in some engine wiring and stuff, assemble it, and call it good. After watching many of your posts, I have concluded that you are truly mad! You take an already challenging kit like one from Tamiya or Hasegawa and say "That's not good enough". You are fearless. You look at everything in a kit and ask " How can I make it better? And you don't rely on the "aftermarket" to do it. I'm sure 3D printing would make your life so much easier but, seeing your solutions, techniques and creativity are fascinating! Keep bringing the insanity!!

Thank you for praise! I'm using an effective option part, but I'd like to make it by hand if possible.
