Several manufacturers around the world got license to produce the Isetta. And this is an interesting variation... The original Isetta had four wheels and a small differential on the back, but this three-wheeled version, as far as I know, was produced as a simpler version and, at the same time, advantageous for countries that gave tax exemption for tricycles. It was more unstable, too, unfortunately (what I didn't understand is the steering wheel on the left side, since the tricycle versions were mainly intended for the UK, with the door opening to the other side and steering on the right side...). Your work in this kit was nothing less than superb!

VERY clever! Especially the steering column hinge arrangement for door opening and closing. That seat 'fabric' looked so realistic. Again, the small and intricate parts and assemblies you made...that carburettor assembly was no larger than your finger nail, with so many parts to it! Amazing! You must have a good collection of models you'd already made before starting your KZbin channel videos...would be great to see a video where you show us around them 👍👌😎

If you allow me to say something on a different subject, any idea why the styrene got wrinkled after spraying a few layers of 1200 Mr Surfacer and after 24 hours another thin layers of lacquer paint? I have painted a car kit model, the main body came out good but the hood got wrinkled really bad. After striping down the paint I noticed that the styrene got melted into wrinkles not only the paint. You are experienced and maybe you know about this. Thanks
@A4Garage4 жыл бұрын
I am not sure of the exact situation, so I cannot give a definite answer. Maybe if it's not a for plamodel paint, a strong thinner ingredient melts styrene. thanks
