I think this show was just not perfect, thats all. It happens. It seems to me, that the guitars are a bit off too, especially in the opening The Stage. I had a chance to see them in Prague some years ago and they were perfect the whole performance. It must be hard to put 100% of a show every time, so I wouldn't call the old. Give them some rest and they will keep up ;)

The mixing is not doing Matt's vocals any justice, but he sounds really great here. His voice is a bit raspy from the intensive touring but he reaches high notes just fine. The bridge and choruses in The Stage and the outro to So Far Away are good examples.

After seeing them live twice in the last 2 years, once at the Atlanta show with Metallica, and the opening night us the Stage tour this year. The sound was a lot better for the stage opening, but it sounds like the mix is't quite right. I'll admit, I have no idea how any of that works. But it sounds like they have the drums too loud, and his voice too low. His voice actually sounded really good that first night, it was just slightly overpowered by the instruments. And now at this point in the tour, he's probably just a bit tired. I hope they really sort the sound issues now, from the 2 I've been to and from what others are saying, I'm surprised it is still going on. All in all, I still think they sound great, just need some tweaks.

Its clear that Matt has passed his amazing vocal range and he will probably never get back to it, but hes had an AMAZING career.....hes been singing for awhile, and hes among the best.....Matt 09-11 was one of the best, if not THE best, metal vocalists in history....Simply amazing

Zak doesn't get enough credit. There's a lot to be said about a solid rhythm (serve the song) player in a band like this, while still keeping up with the harmonies with the presence. Kind of like a modern Malcolm Young

1. The sound quality is low so Matt's voice doesnt sound like this at all really. I recently saw them live 2 months ago and he sounded amazing. 2. They've been touring for months and months and months doing TONS of shows. Im sure his voice is definitely feeling that wear down.

Matt’s voice is damaged... he needs a break from touring baaad. He sounded fantastic last year when I saw them live. I believe it’s just too much touring back to back to back. After Waking The Fallen he had to go to therapy or something for voice damage...

Because people are too stupid to see they've been on tour with Metallica putting on hour+ long sets everyday. Matt was sick and had throat polyps preventing him for achieving the best sound. You can tell because he lets the crowd sing alot and Syn/Z back up vox. Rock on the range changed their stage last minute and were having technical difficulties. The second half of 2018 was a bit rough for them, but they still performed.

I cannot think of a heavy band that puts on a better performed live show. Poor Matt can barely talk here (clearly from leaving it all on the floor every night) and he still manages to pull off a pretty good show. Syn is otherworldly...he does not get enough credit and should be mentioned much more frequently in the "greats" category.

I saw them like a year ago, the screams aren't that prominent at all. Pretty much only Buried Alive at the end and a few times in Second Heartbeat. Certainly not enough to hurt even a regular person that badly if they know what they're doing. I think maybe he's just sick.

As far as the comments about Matt's voice, he is fine, he is just overworking his vocal chords from massive amounts of touring, and he is a bit strained, he does need some rest, but it doesn't mean he isn't still a magnificent vocalist, he is just tired and a bit worn
