A great thing about the tx is that you don’t need to remove the scope to service and re-lube .👍

Well done for leaving in the near catastrophe! That dovetail is very shallow. I’m looking forward to seeing the next stage.

Excellent video - thanks for taking the mystery out of the TX200 internals.

Hi, I have just put my TX200HC Mk2 back together. I used a RedLine red synthetic mega sticky grease (as used in LMP / ALMS cars. thats where it came from) for the heavily loaded outer sleeve, linkage etc. The spring and guides got a little gun grease (thin grey gloop in a small tube). The piston seal and plastic guides got 1 drip of silicone gun oil on each. Also replaced the barrel shroud as mine was bent off line due to PO welding the underlever detent to the shroud. Rob

Good point Alex, I checked it once I removed from where I store it, but it would of been a good idea to do at the beginning, thanks for your comment and watching.

Great video 1st one i've seen that really shows clearly whats involved. I'd like to have seen the re assembly maybe next time you strip the TX you can film the 2nd part?.

I realize that this is an air rifle... but the first step of *any* operation on a firearm is to ensure that it's unloaded and pointed in a safe direction. In your case, for example, if the spring had been cocked, you might have had a nasty surprise when you removed the trigger assembly! :) Nice video, mate.

I don't think he would have been able to seperate it under pressure of the mainspring, I could be wrong though!!

I think the guy doing this assumes people have some common sense.

Absolutely nothing wrong with what Alex Blate said, I'm sure he probably checked it before the video started, but for the sake of being safe I totally agree he should have safe checked it at the start of the video. The amount of people that get injured or worse every year from ASSUMING a gun is safe is staggering. Always check ever time you pick up a gun. End of, no excuses are acceptable for not doing it.

Hi, yes I'm using a Moly grease from Fuchs (Renolit). I'm not entirely happy with it, its nice and thick for the spring but I may get something else for the delrin guides. Thanks for watching, good luck with yours.

I am an Airarms player from China, and now I have an Airarms spring rifle in my hand. Recently, I had a problem during maintenance. I removed the tigger unit from the tigger block. When I put it back on I found the safety button didn't work (cant push in)after i cocked the gun. I can't firing the gun if I can't press the safety button.

Hi If you had opened the underlever, The pivot pin would have dropped in to your hand without having to punch it out :)
