I bought a zero g style hose and used it for two jobs and I noticed the same thing. Going to go back to a regular garden hose
@jonboysprowash7845 Жыл бұрын
I don’t blame you. A hose is a simple fix compared to burning up a pump.

It only came with this the cap that was on it. ThTs not to say that it was right. It didn’t have a thermal relief valve when I got it.

Part of the AAA pumps are made in China but part of them are made in Italy. I have one of each, but I don't have enough time on either to say anything. The one made in Italy looks a lot different and looks much better.

@@jonboysprowash7845 , my DeWalt 4200 psi washer , Honda motor, with the EW 4040 AAA pump just failed on me. It shot water straight up out of the 1st of the 3 check valves. Pump oil wasn't too low. A tad is all. Any ideas on repairs ? Thanks

@@mikesanders4012 You can replace the check valves in it. I have a video where I did this. That being said I would just add $200 more and get a new pump. I have a video for that too.

I HAVE THE SAME PUMP IT WAS MADE IN China. They put that on the underside of the pump so that you don't see it until after you have to work on it. they are made with cheap metal that will rust within about two years, and also a lot of cheap plastic. They are junk.
@jonboysprowash7845 Жыл бұрын
That was about as long as I had this one for. Always kept fresh oil in it and then it blew up.

On my primary business machines I have GP, LOTS of hours and never had a single issue. I have a AAA pump on 1 machine that is 2.5gpm and 2 that are 2.8gpm and had no issues with them but they have very few hours on them...and I don't trust them at all. Normally, when someone with a few years in this industry says something is not commercial grade...that is probably what you will find to be true. What you have always heard about other things holds true with pressure washing equipment...you get what you pay for!
@jonboysprowash7845 Жыл бұрын
That is true. I’d rather spend more on the front end and know I have a quality product instead of cheaping out and always wondering when it’s going to break.

All of those AAA pumps are Chinese made they're only good for about a year to two years after that they're garbage I had the same problem that you did I just put a heavy-duty AR pump on and I've had it on her for five years now never had an issue with it yet but everybody who's had those AR has had some real negative comments the guys locally around here that bought their pressure washer from Lowe's or home Depot have had nothing but problems with the AAA pumps they are garbage
@jonboysprowash7845 Жыл бұрын
I’m glad that AR has worked for you. The AAA served its purpose for me. I guess I got the normal life span of it.
