It is all part of the Shige lore. I think he is a diehard Porsche fan, due to this speculation I believe most of his top scores are calculated by him to represent and pay tribute to famous Porsche vehicles, the 998's personality that trickles down their modern cars, the classic 994, the last of naturally aspirated boxer being the 982, 939 which gives us a glimpse into the future.
