For ground floor go with red bricks......if you want to go with aac block just keep it in mind that it will have cracks for sure whatever you do so you may be needed to plaster time to time

Hi my builder in Gurgaonused AAC blocks, interior as well as exterior walls, but within 1.5 years the interior walls have developed hairline cracks, the builder used plastic mesh and POP on walls....but cracks have developed on all walls, builder says its building settling cracks and after 2 seasons we will repaint....can you pls share your insight on how to prevent cracks in AAC finished homes.

Yes it will be fixed on both side of wall, also it is covered with wiremesh with plaster.
