@@Cyberrat629 I waited until recently to do this for just those reasons. My chrono is old and has seen better days so I didn’t bother. The AAC ammo offerings I've tried thus far have been reliable and accurate. With their pricing, it makes it easier to stock up on what is normally higher priced specialty rounds, like their 5.56 77gr OTM, 75gr BTHP and the SABRE options which I prefer the 75gr load. Also they have some really nice affordable 300blk options. I wish AAC would offer a 5.56 75gr Interlock round like the Hornady Black SBR Interlock, thats my go-to defensive round.

Food for thought. If the chronograph malfunctioned ,it may have been due to occular fogging. If the device was inside your house and then came outside, it essentially formed condensation on the lens. Always keep silica packs with your electronics and warm them up slowly, or at least so you know, it's not going to happen again. You could set it on your truck dash and us defrost to bring it up in a controlled environment. It also could have been direct sunlight or hazing from the heat. However, I believe it could've been the 1st thing I mentioned.
