The expressions on your face you show during certain parts of madhuri's dances are priceless.

Love your reaction. Also, Madhuri expresses everything in the lyrics by her expressions and delicate body movements.

Aaja Nachle is based on true story of a woman who elopes with American boyfriend, but ends up making ends meet by becoming a dance trainer. One day she gets a call from India that her mentor is breathing last and his academy is preyed at the hands of a rich builder. On her mentor's wish, she is called back to save the theatre, cuz by now even things have undergone huge changes and theaters are on a verge of becoming the past. The movie is about the challenge she takes up, comes back to India, raises her mentor's academy and saves the theatre by bringing back audiences to theatre. It's also about her struggle against social norms and tabs

I love that you love this stuff, and Madhuri. This takes me back to some real hard times of my relationship and watching it alone in a theater. I really enjoyed this movie and see Madhuri again on the BIG screen. Thanks for this!

Hi Jimmy, How a woman can be pretty, beautiful, center of attraction of whole universe ?. You saw her expressions, flexiblty, in-depth in Indian dance s & song. She seems like a godess, Nature, there no words to say about her.
@rajeshwari4037 жыл бұрын
Lehenga and ghagra can be used interchangeably, many people would say that they are different and they are according to me, but it also depends on different regions or states. What one might call lehenga would be a ghagra. For example ghagra is the big skirt worn by women in functions and during navratri to do garba(dance) but in gujarati language the term is also used for the underskirt worn in sari which people call peticoat. So, either works for me.

WOW Jimmy your Aaja Nachle Dance in beginning. You actually did the step right girl. Didn't know you enjoyed this song so much as well. That skirt is called ghargra. Oh and I've heard how expensive Indian clothes are abroad. I mean my friend in UK used to come to India only used come to shop for clothes here. She used to the flight tickets are cheaper than the clothes jewellery and accessories there.
@jimmycroni7 жыл бұрын
Yes, i know Indians who live here that go to India on vacation and buy clothes. I remember a lady gave me some outfits and seeing how high the prices were in rupees, I thought they were expensive. When I converted the numbers into dollars, they were cheap in comparison. One was $22 dollars.
@Mopester137 жыл бұрын
In rupees they seem high but they are actually dirt cheap even 22 dollars is too much you could get a decent ghagras from a place like fashion street in Mumbai which sells cheap but good stuff for 10 dollars. The clothes here are so much cheaper than compared to forgeign countries. I hope some day you come to India and vlog about your experience.

Then is madhuri wearing a ghagra in Ghagra because that looks too expensive and heavy to wear on a regular day.
@siddharthsharma98367 жыл бұрын
Bollywood directors are quite creative, they can make use of a heavy festive ghagra too if they want. To make it easy u can ask for just lehenga, its more popular.

Shut up, ur title gives ur intro. Its definitely true but its origin is from rajasthan. And its not worn day to day in other states, only a day or two in a week. Don't reply to my comment until u change ur freaky title.
