There is a very common misconception with the spelling with Indian names translated from Hindi or regional language to English. Names like Akaash, Aakash, Akash would be pronounced exactly the same way, often the difference in spelling is caused by what their parents decided the name to be written as in their birth certificates, or if someone decides to alter their name due to numerological reasons - Ajay Devgn (actually the surname is Devgan), Tusshar Kapoor (Can also be written as Tushar, and it will still be pronounced as Tush-aa-r). Another example - my name Pratik can be written with an I or with EE (Prateek) and it would still be pronounced the same way.
