Did you happen to do this? The Willys is different than a sport, has the Sahara style fenders, not the 1 piece sport fenders.

Defenatly prefer this method more than the others I think by taking out all the insides makes the fender week. Contemplating doing this only deference is I have aftermarket inner fenders. Figure when install my inner fenders I have to take off the fender, it would be easier to do what u does with it off

Nice, I was looking for a video like this. My Willys has the all plastic fenders, I'm assuming I can do the same and just dremmel off the excess plastic?

I added a set to my JL and was wondering if when in just the electric start not the engine start do they not come on. On my JL only when I have the Jeep fully started with the engine do they come on

they only come on when you remote start or start, plus flash when you actuate the alarm or lock unlock. You may be able to change this with a programmer

To the best of my knowledge the sport fenders are one piece. Currently with those fenders, you cannot take them apart like this and American Adventure Lab does not make a bracket for them.

How does the oem vs aal led drl brightness compare?

AAL is a much cleaner led but brightness about the same. AAL might even be slightly brighter. And they look way better while opening up your front end. The look is superb in my opinion.
