Missy Elliott did a beautiful job on the songwriting, with Timbaland on the timeless beat. Had no idea this was originally recorded in 1996 and finally released in 2001 on Babygirl's Red Album. Goes to show not only were Timbaland's magical beats & Aaliyah's angelic voice timeless, but how the trio's chemistry never faded away within that 5-year interval nor so in current time; always strengthening in memories & hearts of fans. Missy + Timbaland + Aaliyah = Holy Trinity of R&B/Hip-Hop. May God be with the Haughton family and close loving friends.

More than often, the world encourages women with heart ache and a bad break up. But this is one of the very few women to actually encourage a man with her vocal ability who was left by a woman he loved. This is a very rare gift. They don’t make em like Aaliyah anymore. And if they do, that woman is either already married or suffering terribly while waiting on her king!

sorry to say it, but this aint my style and i just dont like the song. thats my opinion (free country). just like its your opinion to say people shouldnt have the ability to hear again when they dislike. i understand your point of view because i can understand people liking a song. now please understand me if i say i dislike a song.

Aaliyah was an amazing talent with an even bigger heart. I had the privilege of meeting her and getting a rose. I was extremely saddened when she passed. God needed another beautiful Angel up there. Miss you girl!

aw :( I'm glad you got to meet her. My friend William said he would've met her on the day she was signing for her album but he couldn't leave work earlier. I wish I had met her too. I'm glad you did. I'm sure you'll see her again up in heaven :)

14th anniversary today since her passing on August 25, 2001. Aaliyah you were such an angel and inspiration to me growing up. I'm 22 now, the same age you were when you transitioned and I can't even fathom accomplishing all that you did during your short life. All I have to say is you were a legend then and you are a legend now. I care for you and rest in peace "highest most exalted one, the best." God Bless!
