Aaliyah did a lot of soundtracks. A Low Down Dirty Shame, Sunset Park, Anastasia, Dr. Dolittle, Next Friday, Music of the Heart, & Romeo Must Die.

I remember this! The summer of 2000. A lot of memories! Thanks TMF. Thinking about Aaliyah, there’s never been an artist after her dead that had the same thing that she had. She was so unique and in a lane of her her own! Music sucks nowadays. Urban music has the same reggaeton kinda beat/vibe with an autotune voice. Every artist is like that now.

Her marriage to R. Kelly actually caused a lot of damage as well. She was banned from the industry because of it. While she was being booed at concerts and award shows he was still making music and selling records. Fortunately for her she never gave up and came back with "One In A Million" and changed the whole game. The world was introduced to Timbaland and Missy Elliott through her resilience as well.
