I love watching these street vendor videos. At first, I was a bit apprehensive to what he was making with so much onion. But at the end it looks amazing. The gentleman cooking should definitely smile more. When he did and he laughed, he looked so much younger and the seriousness and stress on his face dissolved.

Though I am an American, I would not expect "service with a smile" from him just because he is cooking for me. But, I know he smiled and laugh with the others around the 8:19 mark. It was just good to see. In the beginning he seemed very intense. That is why I made the comment that he should smile more. And, he might be doing so more than we get to see in this video. I just appreciated seeing his "real" smile and laugh. It was good for the heart and soul.

The six months I was in India I only had one bad experience, and that was from eating a pizza! Street food is awesome and always well cooked. It is cooked right in front of you. Salad is a bad idea for westerners and raw vegetables or herbs sprinkled on top are worth avoiding. Cooked food is very safe.
