Alappuzha (Alleppey) is known as ‘the Venice of the East’. Offering the best tourist places in Alleppey, this charming place is the hub of Kerala’s backwaters and is home to a huge network of backwaters and more than thousand houseboats. The houseboats you find in the backwaters of Alappuzha are in fact a reworked version of the Kettuvallams of olden times. Kettuvallam is a Malayalam word, ‘Kettu’, means living structures and ‘Vallom’ means boat. In the olden days, kettuvallam or boat with a thatched roof that covers over wooden hulls was used to carry tons of rice and spices.
So get ready to wander around this small but chaotic city center and bus-stand area, with its modest grid of canals. Head west to the beach or in practically any other direction towards the backwaters and Alleppey becomes elegant and greenery-fringed, waning into a watery world of hamlets, punted canoes, toddy shops and, of course, houseboats. Float along and gaze over paddy fields of succulent green, curvaceous rice barges and village life along the banks. Indeed, it is here that nature has spent upon the land her richest bounties. It brings back my costal memories at munnar, Alappuzha and our costal sites where i travelled the most in my life😍 As usual i always say I wonder how u film them all by yourself! It isn't easy to shoot them so clearly all by yourself with a drone, and with a scooter!!!🙂♥️🤦‍♀️ holding the handle of the scooter and camera must have been...all the bags and stuffs with u. U managed everything u are an amazing multitasker sir♥️🙃✨mostly ur passion and craze towards travelling gave u the strength to bear everything and make things possible🔥 You have just made your vedios clarity worth it for watching by the way u have shooted by ur camera sir.♥️ And i really wonder how brave u must have been to travel all alone by yourself find out more about the hotels and the other information! After getting all these information u shoot them with drone or hand and then present it so clearly in your vedios with ur unique style of voice, 🌟🔥subtiteles the graphics, graphical texts(it requires lods of creativity, thinking, time and patience) and background music was also good sir👌 And what i liked the most this time was u did mention about the local food🙃 And yes backwaters are heaven !😌🙏in this busy noisy city's we don't get such a peaceful, beautiful 🌊🌴sites sir. Alleppey is not small it is very huge areas. But hear all areas are equally developed. Not like other cities where development is focused on one areas,so when you see u fell like small

Hello, June will be hot and humid, May and June is considered to be a summer time, there will be less tourists and hotels and flights will be cheaper. There is also chances of heavy rainfall that time, so not the good weather to visit Alleppey, but if have made your mind, then don’t think much😊
