Hey guys, I know it’s been a while and I’m finally back. I’ve got a lot of other projects in the works, but this was a video I started working on last summer, along with several other games. I debated wether or not to ever finish it because of the lack of anything really that ‘broken’, but it would be weird not to do this Sonic game when I’ve already covered a lot of the others, so here it is. There's one glitch in Tropical Resort I discovered years ago: In Act one at the final stretch of the level before those 3 rails, there's a checkpoint. I found out that if I stomp onto the pole on the right, it will make Sonic tilt upwards while still holding crouch. Then, if I have enough, I can boost my way over the invisible wall into an out of bounds area. I had it recorded once but I don't have that on me right now, it's been a long time.

One thing I prefer about the older games on the 8- and 16-bit consoles is that there are many more visual bugs. When glitching those consoles, it's like "seizure warning, people."

You missed a glitch I discovered. Their's a certain buggy wall in Tropical Resort. If you boost on it it sends you flying backwards at an incredible speed as if you were teleporting.

Im pretty sure the reason for different Acts being loaded while you're playing one is because the devs had originally planned to make all of them one massive level, but that idea was cut decently late into development. May need to fact check that though.

That is abit disappointing, but I'm fine with what we got at least. I honestly suspect something like that to be the case with some of the weird placements in the game like a white wisp capsule at the end of Sweet Mountain Act 1.

I played this game on my Wii as a kid. This game also came with sonic unleashed. I loved them both and was obsessed. I heard this theme song and all the nostalgia came running back to me. Thanks Andy!

isnt anyone ever gonna mention the "Dimps speed slope glitch?" y'know, the one where if you fall onto a slope or curve and press right (or left, depending on the direction of the slope / curve) as soon as you land, sonic sorta breaks his speed cap? as far as i know, it only works in the tush trilogy, but it might work in the advance series tho. Can someone check for me?

+Onaterdem God the fun I had with that glitch! I remember using it in Empire City and at the mach speed section on the bridge where the robot is chasing you. I manage to some how break away from the part that makes you enter the next bridge and ended up going back to the part where you were being chased! I know this may not make any sense but trust me it is as crazy and random as it sounds! XD
