Apologies for the few flash frames in this video. My editing software has a tendency to screw up my frame perfect clips when I have to export the same project more than once. Sorry I didn't catch that before uploading!

Only thing is, if the Northern tribe was outdated, so too was Kyoshi Island. Possibly worse. As men weren't allowed to fight at all, only exempting a possible ally to the Avatar's friend. In the tribe(s), females could still fight/bend. Females in the north just couldn't be trained in combat due to them having healing abilities.

My favorite part of the show is when iroh said "I always saw myself taking ba sing se, I never thought it would be from the fire nation"

It’s so nice to see someone who acknowledges the central importance Aang and Katara’s relationship to this show. It’s not just a forced side romance, it is literally his primary motivation for everything he does. A young teenager can’t comprehend what it means to save the world, so he thinks of it as saving the person he loves instead. Most of Aang’s actions are either motivated by wanting to protect Katara, or inspired by her in some way. And she leans on him just as much, because he gives her hope, something she hasn’t had since her mother was alive. He makes her laugh and forget about her worries. He protects her, and she protects him. I always think back to the last episode of season 2, when Aang gets shot by Azula’s lightning and Katara catches him. You just know even if there was no way out, she would have fought Zuko, Azula and every last one of those Dai Li agents to the very end to protect Aang. Their love is what makes this series possible. Edit: I’ve come back here after seeing a video that basically calls Aang / Katara Avatar’s biggest mistake. It makes me so sad that people continue to shit on such a wonderful, wholesome relationship. I don’t understand why everything has to be so edgy. Sometimes, I want the hero and the girl to end up together. I don’t want a complex story with some esoteric moral like “it’s better to be alone”, I just want a big, unapologetic, good old fashioned love story, and that’s what Avatar gave us.

Awesome! I love this video and I love the entire franchise of this series. I'm making my own story set in the future following the Firebender Avatar after Korra.
@алексейпугачев-л9й Жыл бұрын
You mean after AFTER Korra right? (since there is an elemental cicle in a specific order and fire comes after earth)
@sivanlevi3867 Жыл бұрын
Well, The Legend of Genji project is well on its way to fulfilling the immediate sequel of LOK in fandom, but still, in continuity terms my story is still set after Korra's time as Avatar ends regardless. That said, I'm still contemplating whether or not some familiar canon characters would make an appearance after so much time has passed.

Wow was not expecting an Avatar video from you. The fact that this series, even years later, is still being talked about despite having only three seasons is astounding. Great job.

Another great video hotboi but I know me and some other fans would love to see a video of how Aang compares to Meatwad from Aqua team Hunger Force and SpongeBob from SpongeBob SquarePants. I believe that would be an interesting video that would garner a lot of views. As a personal fan of all 3 I would love to see how you are able to compare, contrast and analyze their personal traits and stories!!!

My problem with aang v ozai isn't "AaNg ShOuLd HaVe KiLlEd OzAi" it's that energy bending wasn't well established, Aang should have found it by himself, Even his avatar state was unlocked by hitting a rock. Aang should've recovered it after he mastered the last element (fire) putting him in a delimma if like this: ozai bested aang at first, but aang is confident and he was on ozai's level until ozai started lighting bending even with aang's combined skills ozai is still superior, after that aang became the avatar and obliterated ozai and the rest is the same, ozai's end is perfect, he always lusted over power and control punishing others for being "weak" but not anymore. Why killing him? Just take everything he values away from him and let him rot as the rat he always meant to be.
