Oh my gosh. I fell in love with this technique and tried it this evening. One thing different that I made, was cut the petal in the center and overlapped with piping gel to make the petals stand out. I even colored the sugar with edible powder and it came out beautiful as yours. Thank you for sharing. Laura from Florida

I don’t know your recipe, but it shouldn't be a problem if it is fat-based. If you want to take an extra step to prevent wafer paper from melting, check this tutorial: astashkinacakes.com/wafer-paper-buttercream/

Hello. It is called "piping gel" and I used sanding sugar with pearl dust and powder colors to mix the embellishment mixture
