Omg I forgot to ask for a name! What should we call her? :D
@sockeyesoren5 жыл бұрын
Maybe gemdweller? I thought of a little backstory for the species. When a gemdweller is born it has no horn and no gems. Around the agen of 3 the horn will be fully grown. Gemdwellers get really old. The older they get the more gems will be seen over the body. Gemdwellers are shy and love the sunshine. They'll often lie down in it and make their gems shimmer in the light. Gemdwellers really like mist to travel trough. Their long tails curve the mist and they'll run trough, making a path trough the mist. Gemdwellers aren't good as pets but they'll often help travelers or fishermen with their ability to 'sculpt' mist, in exchange for berries or other fruit. When a gemdweller passes away it will leave all it's gemstones behind in a pile, which the others who were there will gather and hide around the forest. This was really fun to write! I hope you guys like it as well!

The long tailed Amalgamate. A creature named for the variety of gemstones infused to its body from birth. They are said to be born deep within the earth’s crust and upon maturity they leave their birthplace to find mates. The gemstones along their body are said to differ depending on region and depth.

Name ideas! I did some research and in Colombia, Australia, Myanmar, Sri Lanka and Madagascar, there are lots of precious stones with - Colombia being the biggest producer of emeralds, - Africa (in general) of diamonds - Madagascar of sapphires - Sri Lanka of 50+ gems (including sapphires) - Myanmar of rubies - Australia of Opals As the creatures always have a country in their name, I thought you could use those. Specifically, The creature reminded me most of opals and diamonds, so I used African/Australian :) *Some actual names:* - Australian cave dweller - African horned diamond hunter - Australian opal decorator (the creature has gems on it, I thought that it’d be cute to have it decorate itself with gems) - Australian horned treasure seeker - Australian opal collector Hopefully I was able to help and have a good day everyone :D

So I kinda wrote a bit if you're comfortable with reading for a bit read on. Hiya Dina! It's me again! :) I think she should be called the Queen WeatherHarmonizer She looks too majestic to be just a normal WeatherHarmonizer so I was thinking that she was the queen. My ideas for this were that she can control (when shes scared) where fog and mist appears to hide her stunning appearance from predators (that's why shes called a WEATHER Harmonizer). I also thought that she would like to bring peace to her forest home so she can scatter about luck wherever she goes (that's why I put Harmonizer in her name) I think all WeatherHarmonizer's live in one big cave (like bees in hives) and only the Queen WeatherHarmonizer can have children with passing males. A bit like elephants I think the males leave the Storm (group of WeatherHarmonizer's) at around 2 to fend for themselves. I think when at birth young Symphonies (baby or under 2 WeatherHarmonizer's) have no gems (and cry like beautiful music or Symphonies that's where I got the name) as the gems represent respect and power and as the females grow up whichever WeatherHarmonizer has the most gems when the Queen dies is the next heir. The males how ever compeat for the shiniest coats, fluffiest tails and sharpest claws for protecting and comforting their young. Whichever male looks the best gets to have a Symphony with the Queen. The females earn their beautiful and biggest semi-precious gemstones and dagger sharp horns by eating the most succulents and drinking the most honey while Males will only eat fish. Males will have 2 horns and greenish, blueish and blackish coats so they can camouflage and hardly ever go outside as they tunnel to find other Storms if these creatures ever do go outside it's at night as they're the least vulnerable then. Male WeatherHarmonizer's (or Stags) are caring fathers and stay with their young until they are 2 then leave that storm. Female WeatherHarmonizer's or Beauties (sometimes called Mare's) comfortably live with their young until they are 5 then continue their lives female WeatherHarmonizer's can fast for 6 months without starving that's why they are such good mothers. I hope this helped! Thanks for reading. Xxx

The Ardystalos, known primarily for their long, elegant horns and tails, are said to appear only once in a blue moon, (but not in the sarcastic sense of the phrase) in forgotten misty places in abandoned forests, mountain-tops and the occasional hilltop spring. It is also said that anyone that so much lays eyes on any such creature, with any form of I'll intent, whether towards the Ardystalos itself, or anyone/thing else will have their heart examined by all creatures present, and, if found to be truly unrepentant, will have done to them the very same thing they were plotting to do to whomever they had I'll intent for, if murder, the last thing they ever see is the gentle glow from the gemstones of the Ardytalos.

The Magnificent Monoark. This animal lives in forest clearings in temperate, deciduous forests near streams of water. They are elusive and hard to find. Their spots resemble semi-precious river stones. This creature is about the size of a fox and have the ability to disappear in a flash by shimmering like a mirror to blend into its surroundings. Males have a horn to attract mates and will spar each other to impress females. It has four toes on each foot capped with hooves (yes, they are considered hooves). These animals are nocturnal and will come out at night, being more active during full moons. These animals are omnivores, and will eat a variety of foods including insects, fruits and leaves. They have a certain taste for ants. I hope you like this description for this creature! I love the design so much!
