Backstory(enjoy!): Nyra, a young witch in training, has never been very good at witchcraft. She was jealous of all the other kids at her school who seemed to master every spell they were taught while Nyra only new how to make tea that instantly puts people to sleep. One day, in witchery school, her teacher taught a new spell; the Lucid Liquid Dream spell which turned your most memorable dream into a reality, and all you need is some water. Nyra loved this idea, so when she landed in her yard, she jumped off her broom and sprinted through her garden and to the house, almost tripping on the strawberry vines. She prepared a cup of water then had the grandest idea; let’s use the sleeping tea for the spell, what a treat that would be! So she instead dumped out the water in the cup into her favorite teapot. She boiled the water and turned off the stove. She tossed in some oranges and strawberries, both grown in her own garden. She let the fruits steep then added a handful of ice. It was ready! She prepared her workspace, adding candles and a pentagram of salt on the floor. She placed her bowl of freshly brewed sleeping tea in the center of the candle circle. She closed her eyes and chanted the spell. After a few seconds, she pried open one eye; nothing. She was disappointed and she got up to walk away. Suddenly, a gentle poof noise startled her. She whipped around to see the tea floating out of her bowl. She stumbled backwards and tripped over the spoon she decided to toss to the floor before starting the spell. After standing back up and patting off the back of her dress, she looked up and saw a dragon! But not any normal dragon, this dragon was made from her sleeping tea. She was amazed and terrified at the same time. The dragon seemed friendly, and if she remembered correctly, the dragons she dreamed of before were always kind and gentle. Nyra danced around with joy as she now knew how to pull of two spells! What fun! While dancing she suddenly realized that her feet were no longer touching the ground. She frantically looked around to see her and all of the other items in her humble abode floating. The dragon was flooding her home with sleeping tea! “Shucks! How do I stop it?!” - End, please feel free to continue it if you’d like! Hope you enjoyed!

Backstory idea: Bubble (nickname) makes iced tea potions for the villagers to enjoy and be healed. One day however, she wanted to try something new and so she added an extra ingredient or two. As she stirred the tea potion started to rise, she stopped stirring but the potion kept rising and swirling and slowly a tea spirit emerged. A tea spirit created by her never documented before. From then on the tea spirit helps Bubble make more creative and more effective iced tea potions. Hope you like ^^ feel free to expand.

Backstory == Her name is Kori-Ocha Korudo {Kori = Ice , Ocha = Tea, Korudo = cold } and she is from a Japenese family in Tokyo, {Set in more of a Ponyo art style}. There is magic all over the world, but there isn't any in America, so no one talks about America. Her mom is American though and tells her that the only special thing over there is people with ears like hers. Kori-Ocha {nicknamed Kori} learns about a school for the gifted, which teaches magic to anyone in the region, so she decides that she wants to go there, but her family poor and can't bring her to the school. She decides to go to the local library, w/ free admission, she checks out a mountains worth of books, maybe more. " Oh maaan, how could I ever learn magic if i cant understand anything these books say in the first place... " She sighs as she looks at the first books contents. She looks at all the books and see one that stands out. Its title was "The Art of Water / Liquid Magic: Fluidity of the Mind" " That looks interesting, but long... Still.. I kinda wanna read it... Oh, well I have time" as she looks at the clock on the wall... "3 P.M. , It's okay.... " She opens the book and a wave of wind came over her. She feel down and feel asleep. Dreaming a strange dream. She looks upon a lake, with reflections of her past memories. She sees herself, her mom, and her dad, who's been dead for years. She starts to tear up and closes her eyes. She hears a voice, far away, fuzzy, closer, closer, here, next to her. She opens her eyes. "Sweetie, are you okay, you fell down and then started crying in your sleep. Is something wrong? Is it dad, honey?" She wipes away her tears and says "Yeah mom I'm fine, just... Sleepy is all." "Okay ya sure, i was worried for a sec .... " "yeah mom, I'm fine... I love you, goodnight. "Goodnight"... She opens the book again after her mom leaves. She flinches, nothing happens... She notices there are words now, instructions. She reads everything, and to her surprise, it's easily understandable. "I could never do it in the past, maybe I can do it now" She says determined to do it, to cast a spell and be a witch... With a year's practice she learns many things in her books, checking more and more books out, returnig them a day later. She's ready to become a witch!! She cast many spells and she was ready to prove herself. She had gotten a bike last week and was ready for the entrance exams to the school, as now she had transportation and her family was more wealthy. The exam was written and example, which is where you cast your biggest spell. She got there, tired having studied a lot the night before, and anxious knowing she didn't know as much as others, but determined to be the witch she had dreamed to be all through her life. She passes with a 64% on the written exam. She's even more anxious now. She goes in with determination and passion, she's nervous but she can't go back now, not now not ever. The drawing is the spell, it's called "Sugar Frenzy" { this isn't a thing where you say the name of the spell while casting it}.. The drawing is the moment, the surprise, it's the moment, it's way she got into her dream school! *My GOOOOOD This could be an anime*

I think even if there isn’t a backstory it’s still a nice concept and sometimes it’s just relaxing to just do a piece just for the sake of doing a finished piece and then maybe the backstory will pop into your head later and you can tweak things if you’d like 💕 I think it’s adorable story or not.
