@The Mozart of football Back in the late 90s we also had popular b-grade soft porn which made others to look down upon Malayalam industry. Still, through creative content, industry is trying to get rid of that bad name.

@@anammajose4534 soft porn?I haven't seen soft porn movies in Malayalam🙏Malayalam always created great and realistic movies way back.But the industry was not popular because the language is not spoken anywhere other than Kerala.But nowadays people r willing to watch any languages and Malayalam movies r getting their benefits as lot of Americans and foreigners prefers Malayalam movies more than any other language.so yes and Bollywood continues in trash releasing radhe movie😂
@eldho19973 жыл бұрын
@@ArunKumar-me4ob the thing realistic films are great but it won't sustain an industry hence why you need mass masala movies. People still want movies which they can celebrate. That's why a film like Master did so much better than most of these in kerala. But one good thing about mollywood is that its actors are willing to do different roles. You will have mohanlal playing a role like in pulimurgan or lucifer doing a film like drishyam,villain,marakkar. And you mammootty playing a like in shylok and mathura raja and at the same will do films like perumbu,unda etc. So in that sense malayalam film is very lucky.

@@eldho1997 the main thing is that u r thinking like only mass masala movies will workout🙏that's the reason Bollywood always releasing radhe type movies🙏first of all master is not from kerala.Many mass masala movies flopped in Kerala and foreign countries🙏Kerala is now getting international level hype and many Malayalam movies r now releasing several countries.It has a very good growth compared to Bollywood.Bollywood remains always same and now they r also facing crisis in international level.several malayalam movies released in ott and many of these movies nailed the platform internationally like joji,great Indian kitchen,cu soon etc as a result Anupam chopra reviewing Malayalam movies and many American channels explored Malayalam movies and they all has a very good opinion for malayalam.But Bollywood movies got flopped like coolie no 1,radhe etc.so yes nowadays people r getting very wise about movies that's y Bollywood movies r getting flop one by one

@@eldho1997 disagree with ur take on mammmotty and mohanlal. They are not doing movies worthy of their talent and it’s high time they act their age . If antony hopkins can get an Oscar at 83, our legends are still young 😊. I would love to see them in a lijo, dileesh, shyam pushkaran movie.

it's more of an intellectual movie, you need to think a lil deep about it. It was slow running, but it stays in mind. The question that I felt was, Is really faith and religious beliefs equal to good deed , we can see him praying and but what he did at the end of the day was a crime, but he doesn't seem to believe that . Meanwhile, the son in law is not much of a believer but, he thinks it's wrong. It felt alot complex I don't know if I am putting it into words correctly. And I was so amazed by howBiju Menon (the father) played the character almost twice his age. And man!! what an acting.

These films are so rooted. The language, accent, slang and nuances are as much part of such films. Replacing it is like defecting it. Ask for Hindi subtitles instead. Add ons will not spoil experience, replacements does.
@djshelin3 жыл бұрын
@@anammajose4534 as i said not every one enjoy reading subtitles while watching a movie, language of that subtitle doesn't matter & in a world where ott is totally dominating, talented people can be hired for translation & voice overs who are good actors as well. I know they might not re create the original magic but its not impossible, i don't underestimate any artform and dubbing is one artform as well which can be taken next level, as ott and viewership has become wider.

@@djshelin Like I said, these are authentic and thought provoking films. Audience who watch these films are those who push themselves, learn to watch films with subtitles, those who think through the spaces. You have to push, either learn language or learn to watch them with subtitles. You can enjoy generic films, masala films, and action thrillers that comes on TV/KZbin which are dubbed. I don't have a problem with dubbing, but not for authentic films. If they dub quality films, common audience will watch them and shit on them, calling them boring as are expecting thrillers and masala.
