Having previously signed up and taken the first UGL (Ultimate Golf Lesson) week long webinar put on by Mike Adams and Terry Rowles; it was painful to sit through this. People continue to cling to the quest for the "Lord of the swings". The one swing to rule them all which simply does not exist. The information is staring them in the face and they simply refuse to accept it. They keep trying to put their own spin on it. Hats off to Mike Adams he has the patience of Jobe. 😇

Just stumbled onto this concept from Mike & Scott Lynn and it is such an eye opener. So hungry for more. With this will we finally see golf instruction that makes a difference to handicap and willingness of players to see a coach? Fantastic stuff here Travis ty so much!

Best golf instruction l had ever had knowledge-wise. We had been taught how a swing coach sees the golf swing rather than how can the player swing the golf club and the motor that drives the golf club. Now the 3 different ways of gripping the golf club make a whole lot of sense. Thank you...

The knowledge gap between Mike Adams (+ Terry Rowles) and the average golf pro is shocking.

Very interesting that we club golfers see a coach and the coach almost demands we HAVE TO take it back along feet line and stand square YET Bads stands closed to hit it better …..this video gives me great hope 😂👍👍👍👍

I was about to quit golf for the 3rd time when I found Mike a few years back. I went from rear to front post and immediately got better. I wouldn't see a coach that didn't know this stuff at this point.

This is a fantastic and insightful video. Outstanding. I learnt more in 30 minutes than I have in years. Mike is a real systems thinker. Interesting that people go for the middle (P50) rather than learning from the very elite (P97) who are exceptional. Mediocrity rules.

Travis usually researches his guests well. Don’t know that he has a lot of exposure to Adams. The grip conversation would’ve been so much more impactful if he had known Adams measure the two hands separately. Still love the pod but it was cringey at times watching Mike explain his concepts. Could’ve viewed one of his webinars and came with better questions. The guy lays out a lot his tests and concepts freely. I hope these two get together at some point again soon. Mike Adams deserves the platform

If you haven’t previously been exposed to Adams and Terry Rowles information about testing and match ups ,this will be of no real consequence. Except to seem confusing. If you do some checking it could be very helpful. Also front post, center and rear post issues for pressure and torques.

Could u kindly share the top 2 or 3 videos (links) on this topic in your opinion? Ty As far as I can tell I might be a side on, front post (or perhaps a natural two post but forced myself into front posting) golfer. No idea about glide spin or launch.

Look up Mike Adams and Terry Rowles videos and interviews. Quite a few covering all the match ups and testing and you could try stuff and apply as might make sense. Front post and others are easy to explore - Good luck- Bio-dynamics

I'm a front loader, side arm golfer. The amount of lessons I've had and wasted with coaches trying to weaken my right hand grip and get me to 'move to my right' more - if only I had discovered Mike and his 'tests' sooner...

Very interesting thoughts, at first early in the video when I got a sense of arrogance from mike and thought you weren’t buying in. The more I watched it made sense and showed how all golfers are built different and have different moves/tendencies that work for them aka “biomechanics”. My sense with you line of questions was everyone needs to swing similar(my opinion). Take no offense but I think a large amount of teachers have that approach as they video you and always try and compare you to the pro or put you in classic spots. I think mikes take is he uses your tendencies and gets your body, grip, alignment etc.. to work with those tendencies. Informative video

Badds is back on leaderboards this year. A caddy who I know well saw him on the range with this stance and asked him if this was some sort of drill. Badds said no. Caddy asked why he's doing it. Badds says because it works.

Ben Hogan supinated his right hand from top of BS through impact. The grip means nothing as long as the golfer supinates from top of BS through impact.

Which one Mike or Travis? Mike has been around a long time many of this comments are well researched, regarding match ups like grip, stance, wrist cock. Travis appears to be moving out of the box from cookie cutter P1 to P whatever positions. Mike seems to be moving into more stumbling verbiage with “um ah” quite often. Might simply be age issue. If you look at older tapes of Mike, he was never well spoke but insightful- UM ah is a apparent go to. Gone are the days of putting Tiger’s 2000 swing up and having you match positions. So it seems?

He's nonsensical to people who haven't done the pre-reading to know what the screens are and what they identify for players. It would seem to me that entry to a PGA traineeship requires very little intellectual heft to sell Mars Bars and green fees from a shop.
