Though I do find Bushnell admirable to an extant, one concern is that over the years the of commercial and state apparatus build up the security state. Whoever becomes president, could we ser a revival of the red scares of the twentieth century?

Truth: Bushnell wasn't a left-wing extremist. He was obviously a person deeply concerned about the inhumanity his government is through its actions supporting genocide by providing the military means to Israel for its genocidal ethnic cleansing of human beings, for no other reason than to through violence appropriate their land for financial gains. In Bushnells mind he may have seen that as a member of the military with little to no privilege to decision making he had no other options other than to take drastic action without committing violence on anyone other than himself. Perhaps he also saw that his patriotism and to his oath of service to our Constitution and we the hamstrung American peoples influence as well as his, he had no other option than to bring to the publics attention that his fellow citizens are being made complicit in the genocide by the powers that be. Questions: Is it extreme, left-wing, or terroristic for people who are being violently colonialised to take up arms in defense of their sovereignty as human beings with rights to that which is theirs? Would we Americans allow that subjugation on our own soil? And how would we react? Hundreds of unspoken, unanswered, and unresolved questions exist pertaining to the ethical issue of why humanity can't or won't address the promotion of peace and tranqility for all humanity, not just that within our own interest. It's a perversion of Americans' stated goal for democracy. A rouse to keep the population subservient and powerless towards the greed of the few at the top of the wealth hierarchy? That is the goal behind the false communism of Vladimir Lenin, Joseph Stalin, and Putin of today who frames it as socialism, a fraud as well. One might review some of their quoted aims through the internet. Also, who is within Russia is financially enriching themselves. Yep, it's follow the money. Then there's China, and every other dictatorship around the world. None of these so-called leaders stay in power if they don't also enrich the oligarchy that holds a wage slavery over the general population. In the United States we have a thousand or so oligarchs who have all but purchased our government through the financially propped up politicians they present to us on our ballots. An interesting internet search is for the Lewis Powell Memo. The proposal in that letter was put into action when Ronald Reagan took office in 1981 and exists today through the trickle-down economics scheme and Citizens United. And so, Citizen Bushnell may having known this truth fatally committed himself to awakening his fellow Americans to the truth of the governments of Israel and the United States intent for the Gaza Strip and the West Bank of Palestine.
