Saw Dilloway play a free show at a pub in Brighton, England. Was absolutely nuts. There were a bunch of burly viking/extreme metal type guys shuffling past to see another band performing upstairs, never seen one group of people look so terrified and/or offended by anything!

Growing up is a scary process of realizing you might be drawn to scary and evil and violent things. His music reminds me of this a trauma that originated in my childhood that I'm not sure really exists. Also it's funny he mentioned tyler the creator because I heard him on the bus in 6th grade and felt invaded by evil

Great interview, i think the main problem is people's (our) association of sound to something... Noise can sound like WAR, but is in my opinion a branch of punk, and should be taken as a way to fight it. Though becoming mainstream, a sound or type of music can have the oposit effect on ''masses'' that never heard about that genre...
