yes I totally agree with this guy, that is the romanticised America I love seeing in old photographs and movies! Huge neon signs, and beautifully painted windows, absolutely fantastic!

This came on as an ad before another video, and this is the first time I've ever paid attention to one of these lead in ads. Usually I can't wait to skip, but not this time. I didn't even watch the video this was leading in to because this was and is far more interesting.

I believe that sign at 0:56 once belonged to the Crown Motel on North Interstate. I spotted it once on the MAX Yellow Line.

He has a point about signs back in the day. These days in Las Vegas, your mileage may vary with the new casinos. Aaron should come to the Neon Museum here in Las Vegas and check out some of the old signs we have in town.

Love how he works to bridge the authentic American style from decades ago and gives it a modern touch. Guy is a living legend. It's a pity his politics are all f-ed up, but it won't stop me supporting him.
