Southern Weather is one of my favorite albums, it was a summer vacation album for me with which I associate a lot of happiness as well as star-crossed love heartbreak

The saxophone really hit the sweet spot for me. Hands-down Southern Weather & Fear Caller are the best The Almost projects. It was very interesting to hear Aaron recorded everything in each album. Reinforced and confirmed my Aaron fandom. Great interview!

Agreed! When I first heard the saxophone I LOVED how unexacting but complimenting it was.Then after finding out JR did it, I loved it even more. Was a cool thing to pick Aaron's brain about and that little collaboration leaves it as my favorite song on the record. -Nick

Each The Almost album has a different feel to it and I think Aaron really explains that beautifully by saying @2:03 "...it is kind of like the musical diary of my brain and my soul..." It is nice to continue to find musicians/artists that have depth to their music instead of just writing shallow music that will get played on the radio.

Growing up a fan of Aaron, I'll always love this specific outlet for him. It really shows his own ability to create amazing stuff, and in a way he best connects to. Thanks for watching and I hope you enjoyed! -Nick

There is an interview with Aaron and they ask about what the cd after the changing of times would have been. Someone on it asked if it was going to be Dear Misery, and he laughed and said he never heard of that name before and it sounds so dumb. I could have swore it was this interview but is not. If anyone knows where this is I would love the link!!

You know its sad. He was so on fire for the Lord at one time and made some good christian wholesome music. And now he curses and is divorced. Mythology? Oh i pray for his heart and for him to come back to God.

He is not christian anymore ?
@shannonannescriptauthor2114 жыл бұрын
@@Luizcab82 honestly im not to sure. I think he isnt as strong if he considers himself a Christian. The way he used to be. He was at one point. I do know there was a major shift once he got divorced. His thoughts and attitude changed. I listened to his new album with the almost and it doesnt sound very Christian. Now im not saying the almost needs to be Jesus this Jesus that. But in the lyrics there should be some form of reverence or pointing to Jesus.

ShannonAnne J I remember when he would come to LifeLight Music Festival here in South Dakota and he was the biggest drumming inspiration in the Christian setting, and now it just kinda feels odd whenever I watch an interview with him...praying for him!

He's always cursed even when he was a Christian unfortunately. But now his non christian views are now trickling in with his music along with heavy language. What a shame!

praying for aaron. I think the reason why he left the christian scene and his faith because the divorce issue with his ex-wife. everything has a purpose, I believe that aaron will back on track of the Lord. Soon. 😇

No man can serve two masters: for either he. will hate the one, and love the other; or else. he will hold to the one, and despise the other, Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

Spencer was the instrument the devil used for you to fall from God's grace. I just hope you come back to God before it is too late. Salvation is at hand, nobody can hardened his heart from one day to another. Look for God's Forgiveness and be an instrument on God's hands again.

Rockstar77 God is merciful, and mercy triumphs over justice. As the story of the prodigal son, God is ever chasing our hearts. As our Savior said, it is the Father’s will that I should not lose those He’s given me. Let’s pray and be slow to speak- express compassion. Have we not also forsaken Him in our sinfulness. Yet the Holy Spirit reminds us of our adoption as sons and daughters and we say too: “I will go back to my Father’s house, at least there I’ll be a servant”. Thank You Lord for using Aaron, Underoath and the Almost in the mysterious ways you did. Now let us be patient as you’ve been patient with us

Lol comments like these are what chases people away and causes them to percieve Christians as holier than thou,truly sickening and judgemental. When that's not your place only the Creator can determine his salvation and It's NEVER "too late" for someone if you're trying to win over hearts to God I suggest trying a different method.
