However, it is not legal federally so crossing certain state borders or flying with it could be illegal. The California House & Senate voted to decriminalize psilocybin (aka magic mushrooms). However, the Governor vetoed the bill earlier this month. However, some cities, like Oakland, CA decriminalized psilocybin & other natural psychedelic plants back in 2019. There are also religious exemptions for certain churches. With respect to crashing his car into a shrubbery on his driveway - that's private property & the vehicle wasn't stolen so no reason for the police to be involved. I'm certain he wouldn't press charges on his own parents either. Young people might be amused by older, inexperienced people accidentally taking drugs and having misadventures. Obviously, the company Mila didn't have a problem as being associated with it or as a food that satisfies "the munchies." However, you could have paid attention to Simu during the interview stating that he lives there. You could then look up that Jimmy Kimmel's show is filmed in Burbank, California. Then you could Google whether the substances mentioned were legal & road rules.

I had a friend in college made a mushroom tea during summer break and thought his parents would be gone a day longer.
