Van, you don't know how much this means to me 😥. I used to listen to Staind as a depressed teenager while my parents were tearing me apart with their divorce. Their music was depressing and angry, like I was. Now that I'm saved by Jesus, to see Aaron Lewis singing this kind of music brings tears to my eyes.

This song definitely hit me hard when it first came out. Made me so sad, seeing how this country stopped talking to God. Instead, they started blaming and silencing Him. Growing up as a pastor's kid, I was very jaded. I was taught how to talk, how so walk, how to shake people's hand, and how to dress. So, it was just not real to me. Fast forward several years, I ran away from an abusive family, and tried to self medicate to cope with the pain I felt. And God kept showing me He's been there, keeping me alive, keeping me safe. He put people in my path to help me heal, to be a family to me. I remember the first true prayer I prayed. Picture getting stuck in afternoon traffic, only to see a guy all tatted and pierced crying and praying to God. Yep. He needed me to be broken enough in order to heal my pain. Next day, I met this girl who seemed pretty cool, and while driving her home, we started realizing our lives ran the exact same course. The same pains, the same mistakes, the same desires. We ended up going into a church where a lady was preaching on a Monday. She looked at me, called me by name, and told me my entire life story. How I was abused, how my mom's family all came together to try and find me, hoe I was living in a house I knew I didn't belong in because everyone there was getting messed up nightly. Everything. And that's when we heard God brought us together to become the family we always wanted. That was 19 years ago. All God wanted was for me to truly come to Him and talk.

Young man, that is exactly how God wants you to talk to him! Like he's in the room! What was it Jesus told his disciples, anytime two or more come together in my name for Shurely I will be there. He didn't ask a question, he was making a statement.

I haven't seen reaction from Arron Lewis song If I were the devil. More songs of his if you have heard them is" Someone, Kill me like you love me, pull me under, Forever, that ain't country, state I'm in, whiskey and you, goodbye town, again, sinner, love me and God and Guns" I've always been a rocker by heart from the softest like eagles to the hardest like rob zombie and ffdp. I always hated new country but when I heard Aaron Lewis a rock singer play country it changed my mind set for country... not all new country just his lol. A good song you should hear is a song called "slient lucidity queensryche" I heard it when my husband's grandmother passed away I didn't really get it, until my grandfather passed and I was talking to him. I said I know you're with me and you don't like Metallica but I'm going to listen anyways. The radio changed channels and slient lucidity played. I couldn't stop tearing up for half an hour. I wanna see a reaction on that song

Not quite, the Bible says we are all children of Wrath before we are saved. Once we are saved we join the family of God, only the saved are brothers and sisters because only the saved are in the family of God. But everyone can be in the Family, all you must do I accept Christ ad your Lord and Savior and mean it in your heart. God Bless 🙏

Just like Aaron said whether you believe in God or not One day you will talk to God on judgment day So people better talk to him now and let him know how you feel and he will answer your prayers one way or another Maybe not as soon as you would like but there is a reason god does what he does

I do believe in God and that he sent his son Jesus to save Gentiles. I believe God created us in his image. Jesus is my savoir. I am a blasphemer, not always, not regularly, but there is a demon in me that rears its head every few years that is a part of me and not a part of me. I am consciously aware that this demon exists in me. I do pray to God that he forgives my sins. God is, I have no doubt.
