Note: The question of "Who had the better career" is not the same as "Who was the better QB?" Career wise, the argument can be made that Eli had it better because he beat Brady twice in the Super Bowl to Rodgers' one total championship. However, if we're talking who was the better QB, there is no real debate that can be made. At their peaks, Rodgers was better. He was more physically gifted, was more consistent in terms of accuracy and getting his team to the playoffs and had far more accolades than Eli if you pooled them all together. Eli has more rings, but Rodgers has his ring and 4 MVPs. Eli doesn't have one, nor was he ever considered best at his position in his era. Often times, in the early 10's, people at least considered Rodgers #1 over even BRADY. I never once saw Eli in that discussion. I can't even remember his name mentioned in top-5 rankings. That's not to say Eli was bad, but at their best, he wasn't close to Rodgers. At their best, it's Rodgers by a mile.

So I get what CJ is saying and I would take winning titles because I feel like I've accomplished something and I did it again instead of being settled with just one and four MVP's. I'll also say that it's a travesty that the Packers in a 30-year window had two of the greatest quarterbacks ever, but went to three Super Bowls and won twice. That's like the 90's Atlanta Braves. You can't be consistently among the best for that long and not win more than two in that stretch.

Aaron Rogers has not had a better career than Eli Manning.

1:25 Patrick Mahomes? No way! The answer is Justin Fields. Fields is a stud who was NEVER given a fair chance in Chicago with the chaos, and he still showed many flashes of brilliance. Does Fields have things to improve? Yes! But he also had new offensive coordinators every year, horrible play calling, lack of Oline, lack of offensive players, etc. Fields is the most athletic QB in the NFL and he needs a fair opportunity.

Also Eli is beloved almost everywhere. Rodgers not so much.

Why don’t people never bring up the fact the Eli is 0-4 outside of his D holding team under 20 points . In them games he has more picks then TDS and fumbles.

So we taking Dilver over Marino smh

Eli has 2 sb mvps and is one of the greatest playoff qbs of all time.he is not Trent dilfer.hes also top ten in yardrs and touchdowns
@htownborn925 ай бұрын
Obviously Rodgers is better but being an NFL QB you have to go Eli since the ultimate team goal is winning multiple superbowls
@jacobyjonez99005 ай бұрын
I agree I think people are mixing up the question it’s not like he’s saying Eli is better, he’s basically just saying he’d take 2 superbowls over 1
@wrasslin45525 ай бұрын
Eli is a front runner. Just look at his career record. How many times did Eli make the playoffs?
@chriscallahan56995 ай бұрын
Eli had a terrible line the last 5 years he played...and he would have 3 rings if Plaxico didn't shoot himself when we were 11-1 in 2009

Eli is the Goat, he never lost to Brady in the Super Bowl.

Stroud had to say Eli to make it seem like he’s a team first guy, if he would had said Rodgers, it would seem like he cares more about his individual success more than team success, Arod is by far better than Eli, but as a young player and leader of a team he chose the right answer,

Eli won 2 Super Bowl champs, all against Tom Brady. Simple enough that eli career is better than aaron rodgers.

@chriscallahan56995 ай бұрын
Joe Flacco is not Eli...Eli has 2 sb mvps and is one of the greatest playoff qbs of all time.o and he's top ten in yards and tds

In my opinion. Attacking SAS for lack of advocacy for anything is crazy. When it comes to the numbers He is up there with the best for literally lifting others to stronger platforms, stronger self love, stronger generational growth. He is wrong pn many points, but There are receipts of SAS covering and shining the light on womens sports including the WNBA. Not his fault NCAAW kills the WNBA in coverage and interest.

Jim Plunkett has 2 super bowls but nobody is dying to be him. I don't think if EIi won any other playoffs games other than those two super bowl runs. I believe he is just a .500 QB over all. Aaron has a Chip and 4 MVPs. Eli is not in Aaron's league as a QB talent.

This is so stupid because Rodgers is clearly the better player statically. Then to top it off. He hasn't retired 🤣🤣🤣 So he still has a chance to surpass Eli or tie with him in Superbowl wins.

Eli is 117-117. He go lucky with that helmet catch. He got lost his starting job to Daniel Jones. He's a laughing stock outside of NYC. I would rather have KAaron's career hands down.

Hasselnobody said Eli is in such rare air. Only 13 people on this planet has done what Eli has done. Ummmm..... Does Hasselclown realize KAaron has done something only 1 other person on this planet has ever done before which is win 4 or more MVPs? lol
