After a downfield pass to rookie Romeo Doubs, who dropped it during a joint practice with the New Orleans Saints, Aaron Rodgers shared his thoughts on the Green Bay Packers young receiving core. The Quarterback slams the receivers, stating they’re dropping passes, not running the right routes, and making bad route decisions. Shannon Sharpe isn’t a fan of what he sees as Rodgers throwing his teammates under the bus, and explains why this leadership style isn’t beneficial for the Packers. Watch as he and Skip Bayless share their thoughts on Rodgers’ comments.

He is doing this to them publicly not to elicit change or to motivate them, but to prepare the media for what he obviously believes is going to be a bad year. He doesn't care about his guys, he cares about what the media is going to say about him in 6-8 weeks when they've lost 4 straight and he doesn't look good. He's trying to frame the narrative now. Brady never did that. He worked with his guys. No matter who they gave him... just another example of the vast, immeasurable difference in the leadership intangible that separates Brady from every other "talented" quarterback... it's about winning not self imagine... well said Mr. Sharpe

That story Shannon shared about restarting practice was about the mindset of a champion. Most will walk away and think it's about perfection, but the true meaning is being reliable and focus every moment of practice that will transcends during gameday. A bad practice = A bad team.
@jahvonpalmer6775
@jahvonpalmer6775 Жыл бұрын
Yeah, but if Shannon was going to share a story, shouldn't he have shared one where the the Broncos were already champions? Skip asked him if they were SB champions at the time that Mike would stop practice and Shannon said yes. Then he proceeded to tell a story from October of 97 when the Broncos hadn't even won a SB yet. They didn't win a SB until January of 98. So, Shannon should've given an example from 98.

I've coached baseball for 15 years. I always tell my players: you play like you practice. If you're sloppy in practice, if you're lazy in practice, if you nonchalant a grounder in practice, if you don't hustle going down to first in practice ... you will do the exact same thing during a game. Practice build muscle memory but it also build "will memory". You have to train yourself to make plays, but you also have to train yourself to WANT to make a great play every time. You've got to want the ball on every single pitch.

Arron Rodgers is a politician...if they lose he already said it was his receiver core. If they win he's a hero for bringing the dub despite the issues he talked about.

Old man Bayless keeps saying that Aaron Rodgers' long ago Super Bowl run was over a decade ago, and yet, it's been close to thirty years since the Dallas Cowboys last appeared on a Super Bowl!!!!

This could be the year GB regresses. How long can you keep going 13-3 and locking up the top seed? Every team has an off year. Then again, the NFC North is complete trash outside of GB.

🦁 and 🐻 still rebuilding. The biggest threat. They have the offensive weapons but I don't know about their defense

They could go undefeated and Aaron will still come up shorter than a Smurf in the playoffs 😂

Vikings will win the division. Their new HC will bring the most out of Captain Kirk since he’s from that, West Coast System and their defense is pretty stout too.
