I love Aaron. But it seems the last two or three weeks he gets a little short with Pat or AJ asking standard questions or making a statement where they try to build in an easy answer or an out for Aaron. It seems like he feels like they are setting him up for a sound byte but these are always soft questions. He should feel comfortable here if nowhere else.
@brendab192 жыл бұрын
Most definitely. They're very careful with the questions and treat him with kids gloves. They don't challenge any answer or ask the tough questions. They can't really, bc they rely on him doing the weekly interviews. It's all about stroking his ego.
@yukoncornelius732 жыл бұрын
@@brendab19 I don't think it's necessarily ego stroking. Pat, by nature, is always eager to put his guests over. He seems like he just extremely appreciative of anyone that has helped build his shows success. He's the same way with Irsay and McMahon. I think it's just how he shows his appreciation to people who have been a part of what has gotten him where he is. Aaron is a big part of that. Especially over the last year. So of course he isn't going to try and ruin that relationship by beating him up with tough questions

@@yukoncornelius73 I completely agree and I also think it's just part of his personality, he's a happy go lucky type of guy; nonconfrontational. I also don't understand why people get annoyed with him not asking tough questions. At the end of the day nothing is compelling these guys to do interviews with him. Why would he ask tough questions, coming off as an ass in the process? Who would want to go on his show afterwards?

Interesting that he never really acknowledges the role he played with the three interceptions. Aaron is a cool dude, but he does seem to have an issue with blame deflection and it is not charming when they are losing to listen to him say "we" with negatives but he incapable of acknowledging how poorly he is playing this year, at least in my opinion.
@kevinjohnson74182 жыл бұрын
Well , since he has gone three years without a red zone interception, in other words he doesn’t throw them , and threw 2 on Sunday , and is the back to back mvp , then you may want to assume that the receivers didn’t go where they were supposed to. So assuming that , you want him to take the blame ?
