Shiela Ford - first she brought in Chris Spielman, basically a football interpreter for her. Chris Spielman is a silent hero here as ownerships assistant. He played a big role that no one really talks about in the hiring of Brad Holmes and Dan Campbell. Certainly starts with Shiela and Rod Wood. But in between those two and Brand/Dan is Chris Spielman. He too deserves massive praise for his role.

These guys did not talk about it - but it is pretty well known among the true fans - he has had that drive , since the day he walked out of OSU - he should have been a Lion his whole career so glad she brought him back hopefully it can help bridge some of the unpleasantness with some of the old retirees . They were able to get Barry back and he was pretty bitter for a while so it is possible that Calvin Johnson will put it behind him - he is in to weed now right ? he should be mellowing out

Willing to bleed for the guy next to you. Alot of times pros put personal goals, and cash ahead of team... not caring about a loss as ling as they get thier numbers and thier money... its a exciting time here in Southeast Michigan... Foxy and the Lions fanbase is feeling exactly how the Bengals felt last year, and of course this year too. After so many devastating years, it is ELECTRIC to watch the team get on fire and win games. Packers fan here. I remember back in 2010 we went to stadium view bar in Green Bay to watch the pack beat the Steelers in SB45. There were 2 lions fans that drove from Detroit to help root on the Packers and experience Green Bay. I told them if the lions are ever in a situation to make the playoffs and GB isn’t I will certainly root for the lions. I’m happy for you guys and go lions. This will never be the case for the Vikings or Bears.

I'm a Rams fan but I've always had a soft spot for Detroit sports. Root for all Detroit teams, especially the Lions, even when I was a kid. This year for the lions, has been incredible to watch. Outside of winning, the best coaches emulate the spirit of the people and the city they coach in. Is there anyone more Detroit than Dan Campbell? He certainly fits the bill as a hard-working, tough, gritty, passionate, funny, straight forward and in your face guy. Love what you are doing coach to restore the roar in Detroit. It's been a while since the fans have been excited to turn the game and KNOW they can compete with anybody!! It's a great treat for the loyal fans that have stuck around through some tough times. I have been a Lions fan since the mid-70's. It have never seen it like this. "Same Ole Lions" has been here for so long. It's hard to fix, many have tried and failed. It's hard not to want more and want it NOW, but I'll be patient. They are still 6-7. I see this year being the start of the brand new Lions. The future is bright.

I was Born in Detroit. I'm 60 and a lifelong Lions fan. 1 wildcard win in those 60 years. Yeah, it's been rough. Kinda sucks that my best year as a Detroit fan was the 1984 Tigers. If anyone deserves to have a great coach and a great team at the same time, it's the Lions.

Dan is the right guy, and the players has made all Detroit Lions fans happier and more excited. The way last season was showed how much the Lions kept on fighting even in close games despite that we were losing each game last season; However, this season shows that Dan Campbell and our players love the game and are now fighting to get the team into championship contention. Alot of trust and even our QB is doing great. Brand New Lions are better than the old one. Proud of my Lions

I was at that game Sunday and it was electric. I was sitting 6 rows from the field behind the lions sideline and you could see mcdc watching the wave go around the stadium. Even alex anzalone was watching it.
