I'm 33, and I've witnessed the game completely change from what it used to be. A defenseless receiver wasn't a thing. Ejections were not a thing. Defenses were out for blood. It's better for player safety, but it was one hell of a show. Defenses have their hands tied behind their back now, in part of flashy offenses are what the viewers want to see, at least on paper. Which is true for the average viewer, but big hits used to be just as important. Now if you see a big hit, you're expecting to see the damn flag fly.

Things for sure changed after last couple CBA deals and how practice was structured. It’s a double edged sword though. Practice makes them better but also exposes them to injury. Just not worth it monetarily for player and league. Just sucks having like three iffy start of year games as teams get their sea legs back.

Roughly 20 practices and 3-4 snaps in preseason… then you play. 3 preseason games are for those trying to make the team with a small warmup for starters. Unless you’re A.R. You can watch high school football, college football, UFL football and then NFL football…. The NFL pros are insanely great! It’s like watching the best movie series ever in reverse…”Die Hard”… there are great parts in all of them, however, they progressively got worse as a whole. A.R. Is the best quarterback in the league this year, he’s older, he can’t run like he used to, he can’t throw like he used to, he, however is the best QB in the NFL… hell, Payton won a world championship and he couldn’t even throw or run, he was just smarter than the others. Smarts and knowing how to win!! A.R. Has done, and will continue to do that until that draft day soul patch falls out.
