Eventually when you’re on the cusp you have to shoot your shot to get over and win. That’s part of the reason the packers never won after 2012 is because they weren’t willing to splurge a bit to make that difference. Good sign for jets fans that they are recognizing their window and trying to capitalize on it. Taking someone like Lamar would likely cost you more draft wise and be more of a risk. Rodgers just costs money.
