I feel like he's being bashed for not saying thank you to the compliments but I don't think it's because he's full of himself, he seems very humble, I think it's just that all the compliments made him uncomfortable and he didn't really know how to respond. Idk thats the vibe I get from him. He's known to be awkward but very sweet.
