Most underrated country artist. Country has gone pop that is why. They exchanged cowboy hats for man buns.

So right before singing this song Mr Watson had all of the veterans and active duty people in the crowd raise their hands. He then spoke to and thanked each individual personally. I thought that was very classy thing to do. Cheers and thanks to all that have and continue to serve!

This song hit my heart. My daddy joined the navy after running away from home, and went to Vietnam at 17. He said the Navy saved his life. He became a police officer, and retired after 40 years. Sadly I lost him this year. He’s one of those heroes that no one talks about. He never wanted accolades or recognition. My daddy just went out, and did what he needed too in order to protect his community. These should be our heroes. Not BS celebrities.

I seriously can't listen to this song without shedding a tear. Heard it a few months ago down here in abilene on the radio. Was maybe a month or two after I lost one of my friends over there to a IED. Had to pull over and stop because I was crying so hard I couldn't see. Thank you for your support Aaron. Means a lot.

For any American that has served that views this, past or present, THANK YOU for your service, thank you for serving your country even though you might not have had a choice (Vietnam vets) but you were told to go and you went. Thank you for your service and sacrifice so that the rest of us might live in the land of the free. Whether or not you agree with the current/past president and his decisions to send Americans to war, you can still honor the men and women who went, fought, and died thousands of miles from home because they were ordered to. I'm pretty sure they didn't get to vote yes or no if they wanted to die in a foreign land, but they went, did a job, and they did it to the best of their ability. I've never heard a more true statement than "it seems like every generation has to pay the cost". For that, I raise my bottle and tip my hat in a salute of gratitude. .

Let’s raise our bottle to remember our U.S. Military Veterans in our families who bravely served and those loved ones who died for our American people, independent U.S. Republic country, and our freedom! Ben, my USAF Military Veteran dad, served 30 years as an airplane mechanic, supervisor, and did 1 year tour duties in Korea and Vietnam Civil Wars who was fortunate to return home! Doris, my USAF Military Veteran mom, who served 5 years as a Lab Tech until she started having us 3 children and was a nurse for 15 years! My dad and my mom, who I was fortunate to have them live into their 80’s, passed away into the eternal spiritual soul afterlife.💔😭❤️🙏🇺🇸❤️🤍💙✈️ [Chorus] So raise your bottle to the boys and let’s remember All the fallen and the price they had to pay Hold’em up high and salute all the ones that made it back And for the ones away from home, don’t forget to pray❤️🙏
