Same here in Brazil, we don't have a energy limit but we have calibers restrictions for airguns (above 6mm are restricted). I bought a Lyra too but mine delivered about 42 joules at full power. Then I noticed later that the hammer spring wasn't adjusted at max but I didn't have time to test it again. Did yours delivered 60 joules out of the box?

Bought one after reading the rifle revue, but ran into problems from the word go, The band that holds the barrel to the air tank was loose and allowed the barrel to slop sideways even after repositioning the barrel and tightening the band I still could not get the windgauge adjustment to centre up without shimming the rear scope mount. accuracy was very good and trigger pull quite acceptable. Next snag could not get the fill cover off! had to resort to using a padded vice to get it off! replaced the "o" ring with a thinner one which fixed that. still not happy about the shimming scope mount but cant find any obvious barrel misalingment.

Hello folks from Sunny, yes sunny Kent. Brilliant review Andy. I got one of these 4 months ago for 25 mtr bench rest, it's not let me down. Like @yetiwheeler7972, I got a single loader from Bob Pattenden, the single shot try provided is rubbish, too big and the pellets tumble all ways when dropped in. Studs did get in the way for target shooting, very easy to unscrew them though. Mine loves JSB express @ 7,87 and does well with JSB Heavy @ 10,34 and surprisingly well suited with SMK spitfires @ 8.1. Keep those reviews coming. Have a great day folkes.

I couldnt get this rifle out of my head since i watched this review, i just love the overhaul look of the stock. So yes i have had to buy in wallnut, excellent bit of kit. Tip with the single shot loader, cock as normal then simply slide tray to the right untill you see the pellet hole appear then load pellet through hole then slide back. Cant see any other way of loading the tray. Shot mine all day like this no problems you get used to it, found superdomes worked well in .177. better suited to bench rest shooting i think because you can pull the stock into the shoulder with your left hand due to its shape. Its made well for £350ish uk, its a keeper for me.

The accuracy is impressive, the price is inviting and with it being a smaller 200 bar it must be easier to fill with a hand pump. I've never been around a PCP so I have no idea how much effort it takes to fill one. I know I won't be shooting regularly so investing in a compressor would probably be a waste. Could I ask you to please take one for the team and show how much effort it takes to fill one with a hand pump. My area has no shops where I could go (min 4 hr drive) and test so I rely on channels such as yours for accurate info. Much appreciated.
@miskammon9 ай бұрын
I was bidding on a pump, but when I lost that auction, I went with the Chinese compressor. The full price of a manual pump (around 80-100 for a good one or 50-60 for a no-name) is just not worth the effort IMO, just get the compressor for ~150. You can find some videos of pumping these kinds of low pressure guns, it's a workout for sure.
@coaldust019 ай бұрын
@@miskammonI'd say it all depends on how regular you shoot, If you only shoot for a short period once or twice a week then the hand pump is feasible, if you shoot a lot then the compressor would be better, I do question the reliability of those cheap pumps though, Tempting but I would not want to keep rebuilding one should it keep failing.

I'd love to see the Umarex Notos (US name) reviewed but I don't know if it's available in the UK. The US specs has it's muzzle energy in .22 at 13ft/lbs though. 😔 I did Email the Umarex European customer service department asking if it was available in the UK market, but I've had nothing back. This was easily 2 months ago. Not a good sign imo if you have an issue with your product. The only issue is the cylinder size at 66cc 250bar 21 shots per fill 😒 I'd love to see Andy review their Air Javelin arrow launchers. Crossbow type power from a rifle silhouette.

Really disappointed! I ordered one of these three weeks ago and picked it up yesterday. It must be a Friday afternoon gun. It came smeared in black oil, which I swear is dirtier than the oil in the sump of my truck. The barrel band was missing one of it's grub screws (later found in the box), the reason it had dropped out was because both threads had been stripped. The rifle looked odd. I soon found out why. At 25 yards, the barrel was pointing 5 feet to the right of the actual axis. There isn't a scope made that has that level of adjustment. It's going back next weekend. Highly disappointed.
