I do see where they’re coming from though, people want to know what someone else is saying and if they can’t say it to my face in any language i am fluent in then I’d be a bit peeved. apparently her son's 26 (at the time of filming) so it's very likely the friend's around the same age, give or take. that said, that's still a boundary you don't cross, she's still significantly older, and if she did know his best friend as they were growing up... nasty. I feel for Jimmy. even if he kinda grosses me out lol. that'd make you rethink both relationships. and from a viewer's pov, it's a shame, because Soyoung was one of the likeable contestants.

True. Plenty of men do date women their daughter's age or younger and it is kind of normalised, but it is still looked down on more than women dating younger men (eg.
