2D animation will make a comeback in the future because of the computer tablets with digital pens and the limitations of the traditional method on paper and scanned drawings. Because it doesn't mean that much of the traditional method features make a comeback but digital method features will be popular. Also, cel animated features are rare due to big budgets the rise of digital animated features. At Disney, upcoming hand drawn features will use 10 minutes of the traditional method and much of the animation of digital. The traditional method is big budget and the digital method is low budget.

Hey Aaron I rememner purchasing a bunch of your courses from your store including this one in a character course. Thank you for all of the affordable tutorials and all the knowledeable wisdom in your videos. I dream of drawing animation since 2001/2002 when I was in Highschool (could not afford art college as it was too expensive).

It’s a bit funny how Aaron lost control of those ear shadows. They just became two holes😂

Hi Aaron, Really enjoying the anatomy and procreate course. I have also the custom brushset 1. I am trying to figure out when you sketch, is the texture setting in unchecked in brush setting?

This is by far one of my favorite vids of yours. Just drawing the same face in different angles is helpful to me.

How and where should I start in my study of drawing people? I really want to learn, what should I start with?

Draw people from observation, learn perspective and solid drawing ;)

Going out and sketching people in public if you're really stuck. Even if you can't catch everything, you'll eventually start understanding how people and clothing move. Any professional animator who's any good has done this at some point. ...You may get some weird looks though.

Ok. But I can only draw stick figures... I can do landscapes, and animals, but I'm literally lost on what to start on when looking at a person for drawing.... so that's why I asked WHERE to begin drawing people; the body? Anatomy? The hands? Feet? Head? Or face... ? But I will try to draw a person by just looking at them....@@JaseAnimates
