More research and more should be said how Italy was unified, Garibaldi and the north of Italy Piemonte, Lombardia attacked Naples without declaring war, gold and money was stolen from the city to be brought to the north, to this day the city is given very little financial aid compare to the other regions of Italy, there are a lot of issues that should be addressed but are ignored, I love Naples, was born there, more research I do, more I'm saddened at the cost and blood shed of its unification!!!

Naples gets WAY MORE taxes than it pays! Stop with the lies! The kingdom of the two sicilies had the smallest railway network in all of Italy, yes they were the first to build one, but they stopped at the first one! All wealth was concentrated in Naples and the other cities of the kingdom suffered economic stagnation, they had the smallest GDP per capita. Today the city of Milan produces 42 Billions € of taxes each year and it gets 450 millions back, it's crumbles! For each euro I pay in taxes the comune gets just 0,01€ back from the government, in the meantime Naples gets back way more than it pays.

I’m from Naples I love my unique city in the world, I feel so sad when a heard that people thinks that is still dirty and unsafe because now the city has changed in better, in much cleaner and safer than 80’s, also the ancient center end the historic center is full of graffiti art and full of tourists came here

I suppose it's all apart of the culture- it's such a shame that idiots had tried to ruin it in the past- but they could never ruin naples, its character and beauty is too strong! It's so true, it has got sooo much better in recent years and i guess the only way forward is up now ❤️ 💛 viva napule!'

I just visited. I felt the food was very overrated. Just because there are lots of restaurants, doesn't mean the food is good. It means you just have a lot of restaurants. The people were also really unfriendly. It definitely deserves its reputation.

There are some mistakes related to the fact that Borbonic period (18th century) has been mixed with the Angevin and Aragonese ones (Medieval and Renaissance), in particular see after 12.19 minutes. It's a real pity, as the video looks very well done!

Thanks for your comment, I didn't notice that, i got my information from 2 main sources and maybe mixing it into the script maybe it must have backtracked a little? But thanks for pointing that out! and thanks i loved making this video 🙃

Visited there a number of times when I was in the Navy. A lot of the buildings look very familiar. I’ve heard the city has been cleaned up from what it was in the early 80’s when we were there, but at that time it was pretty dirty. Unlike anywhere I’d been in the U.S. at the time.

all major camorra head members are in prison now as there were massive arrests in 2019. The crime in the city is super low at the moment and its very clean. It has been named the best city to Visit in Italy like 3 years in a row now :)

Ciao. I sottotitoli li genera KZbin automaticamente quindi è chiaro che ci potrebbero essere delle imperfezioni. A breve riupperemo I sottotitoli in inglese e italiano. Per quanto riguarda il montaggio, non so a cosa ti riferisci.
