For anyone looking and curious if it works for the 4.3L (6-cyl). I can tell you this works perfectly for that engine as well. There's only one of the plugs to pop off (with the gray depress button). For my I was only replacing the AC belt, so I had to pop the serpentine belt off prior to installing it. Pop the serpentine belt back on once done and you're good to go. I used the AC Delco belt ordered from Rock Auto and it came with a stretch belt install tool that worked perfectly. But the zip ties are great for anyone that doesn't get the tool and needs to get the belt on. Thanks for the perfectly descriptive video.

I have watched your video before. I decided to watch it right now as I am doing my belts. As it turns out, I did not have a zip tie long enough for your trick. So I did use two zip ties stuck together. In doing this, one of the flaps got stuck underneath the vacuum belt. I simply turned the crank until it was loose. And then when I went to do the main belt, I did not take a picture or remember the orientation of the belt, and I did have to consult this video several times to get the orientation proper. Everything did go fairly smooth. Thank you for the video.

I am by no means. Matter-of-factly I did help my nephew do the serpentine belt in his Cruze, believe it or not, I did need to unbolt one of the motor mounts, ridiculous. I am now tasked with replacing the belt on my 2014 Chevrolet Silverado I have not done a bunch of research, but I was not aware of that third belt. I was also unaware that there was a stretch fit belt even available. This will help me. Thank you. This video, is put together very well.

Used your video to replace the AC and AP belts. The special tool worked as shown holding the AP belt on its’ pulley. Working on these two particular belts from the top side prove to be harder than if done from below whilst on a lift or ramps. But, thanks for the know how on this maintenance task.

If I can remember I tried that first and it didn’t work too well. The problem is that it’s hard to keep tension on the belt while turning the crank shaft.
