Rukia isn't as bad as people claim, especially the way she's supposed to be used in GQ her boost isn't an issue. I'll drop a video later about it when her phase comes back.

I'll always have a soft spot for 2024 Masaki because I nabbed my first full ranged Espada GQ completion thanks to her firepower. Might not be optimal, but there's something to be said about holding down SA2 and just completely shutting down everyone in your forward arc for a bit with her barrage.

The more and more I use oh etsu, the more and more I see his potential as a unit, oh etsu is unbelievably insane and that’s no doubt, I still believe he is top 3 unit in the game, I hate that Kenny has espada killer with no guild quest specific skills, and he ended up being the best unit for guild quest, in my personal opinion, oh etsu can do what kenpachi can (outside of guild quest) just faster and you can have more fun. I do have them both 5/5 and they’re both on my main team because both units are damn near perfect in my opinion

Unohana, Isane and Nemu being classed as TYBW is likely due to the different licenses. The old Bleach license uses the older designs and coloring while the TYBW designs copy the new anime designs and coloring

Rukia's bankai is one of the biggest highlights in the entire TYBW arc. And so to see other characters with more or less the same hype as Rukia, get far better treatment (Gremmy, zaraki, iishin ect) is just really disappointing. The criticisms towards how klab handled Bankai rukia are 100% justified in my opinion. We can even see that Klab have acknowledged the criticisms with how senjumaru's character was handled, with her having an Ex move and a real and strong SA2. Justice for bankai Rukia🗣️

Its was great to see her progression and was a nice moment but if its one of the best moments its definitely not at the top. There's a reason she didn't get more fights while Renji is getting star treatment.

Everything From the visuals and the atmosphere to the moment it self. As for renji, well i'm confused as to why they have given him more screen time only to make him lose his fight against uryu. I feel like a draw would've been more satisfying

I think 2024 released quite a lot a strong units. The GQ specific skills I think is criticized too much because it really comes down to wanting all of these units to have Frenzy +3, which is unreasonable and will break the game entirely. Frenzy +2 with a Berserker stat, increased status ailment chance or additional damage multipliers had just became a regular trait by 2024 after drip-feeding it in 2023 on certain units. The Killer effect and ranged/melee damage increase in QG traits are also fine. GQ is a mode where enemies are consistently getting tuned and made harder, so these abilities are very helpful. I'm also fine with getting units that just have a great GQ use with killers like Human, Quincy, Sternritter, Squad Zero, Espada and Captain since a lot of units from 2022 and the first half of 2023 with these killers had different immunities than what are needed nowadays. So to give more options and to make up for that big change in GQ, I welcome units like TYBW Yumichika who has a 120% SP boost and can destroy Squad Zero week because of the synergy with him, TYBW Rukia and Academy Shuhei all inflicting Drain on enemies. I understand that Rukia is underwhelming, but I don't agree she should've been super-duper OP either. Hakke no Togame is a highlight of Rukia's powers, and it was always gonna be her Special Move. I would have preferred KLab making her Special Move hit really hard to display the strength of her Bankai. Making her SA2 a Boost does have a downside with both traits she would need and the fact it doesn't inflict status ailments. Maybe she could've had a guage or enemy defeated bonus instead.

I love them both. Askin is my fsvroite Sternritter and character and Sajin is one of my favorite captains, love both their models in game. Only problem I have is that Sajin's last cool and tragic moment was turned into a BB character. He's still super fun, but given how we aren't getting another Sajin TYBW unit, he should have been an SP unit with the Hollowfied Bankai Toshiro as a BB unit because he's getting another unit from Cour 4

My favorite character of the entire year was definitely Giselle. I knew she was coming eventually for the entire year and then when I see that she's a super good sp unit and finally replaces 7th anni Ichigo as a lead for the ranged soul reaper gq, it was an immediate all in for 5/5. Although I think the highest value units of the year were probably Isshin, renewed Mugetsu, Gremmy, Ohetsu, Byakuya, and probably Askin. I'd say some honorable mentions include EOY Ichigo, Ulquiorra, Kenpachi, Soifon, and every new character with increased pot/super pot drop as a soul trait.

If Tech Halibel is considered good, then Masked Ichigo should be considered good too. They have nearly identical skills since they’re both frenzy 1 characters with 20% full stamina damage boosts and 100% extra damage to non afflicted enemies. Ichigo even has better strong attacks than Halibel, but somehow he gets more flack? Seeing people only focus on Ichigo’s droplet skills and labeling him bad overall is weird when he was still more than usable.

"bad killer" is a stretch. Me as a top 30 GQ player enjoys these units, and being that they still have disabler against Soul Reapers helps a lot in other content. Me personally I understand that not all units are meant to do everything which should be saved for an Anni level type character. Also this slow thing I keep seeing is a weird one because is you really need to you can give a unit another sprinter or long stride.

Rukia was the worst unit in my opinion honestly considering her hype and how people expected her to be an anni level unit made her worst than mid month units. Now that Bankai Senjumaru got the mid month GQ treatment and ichigo got the nuke treatment and they ruined her massively killer being usless no frenzy 3 and gq skills next will probabaly be cour 3 Yoruichi she will be massacred next with GQ garbage

It's because if a char has a 12/14 strong attack recharge upon resurecting they get 16% strong attack damage or 20% strong attack at full stam so the value is higer

The strong attack damage is additive with the unit's inherite strong attack damage(berserker value). But the strong attack damage at full stamina introduces a new multiplier which increases the damage more.

Why do some people cry about frenzy+3 only in the guild quest? Where are you going to use frenzy+3? In what game modes? Even strong characters with frenzy+1 have enough damage if they are pumped correctly.

Well Frenzy +1 has started to show its age now because they would give them a 40% Berserker is they have status ailments, or 60% if they don't. I think Frenzy +2 and any Berserker more than 20% is still strong as a baseline.

Unfortunately some people just want their favorite character to get a solid unit overall and not only be viable for GQ (NAD units like mask,Robert. Or SP characters like Candice, rukia , even the new senjumaru) I don’t think it’s wrong for people to wish for characters to get a decent unit without being surrounded by GQ skills..

@@JinisBored GQ is probably the biggest part of the game once you're in the endgame. That's the mode you go to twice a week and try for good scores. GQ specific skills aren't a bad thing for endgame players and I have yet to see a character with GQ skill be completely unusable

i started bbs the month it came out,i droped it after 4 years and came back to pull for aizen/ichigo (6th anni or 7th i dont remember)i got aizen but droped it again...after 797 days i just came back to the game and got kid gin and ichigo(semi-hollow he was an anni character,i think with the aizen i gat back then) from the "choose a 6star". i ld love if anyone could helpme out a bit,i have npo idea of what i should do/focus in the game....also should i try to pull for any of the units that are currently up?

​@WesleyAPEX That's an arbitrary expectation placed on a character. In a banner: one character is clearly going to be the "standout" unit. Another unit will be second fiddle to the standout unit, but still strong. Another unit will be more specialized to a certain game mode. If they make all of them overpowered and not specific to any game mode, you technically have no highlight characters, and they'll be competing with each other.

2024 the year of fumbles, klab is wayyyyy too insistent on making every single banner have the exact same kinds of characters on it that I don't even get hyped over new units being added. Like great a new askin we've been waiting years for but it doesn't matter because his actual kit is just cookier cutter brave battles unit #32. I understand it lets Klab be lazy and design characters without putting thought into their kit but at some point this format is going to just drive people away.

For real. The game has gone downhill years ago in terms of gameplay when they made strategy numerical based rather than ability based, not making damage based and ailment based characters more separate, making game mode unique abilties, making resurrections pointless besides some links But at this point we should just be used to it and enjoy what we can. No reason to complain when the game already makes little sense and they change very little. Just work with what we got and have fun with it because there are still great things about characters old and new, visually and statsically, ect
